Sorry you had such issue.  I once had one of my neices try to steal from me as well.  When she was moving in with me...away from my brother.  Anyway, she stole a lighter.  I asked where it was.  Her brothers outed her.  So I called the cops on her and had her thrown in jail.
She is 25 now and respects me.  She told me that was a turning point in her life.
Sometimes you have to do the hard thing for the sake of living peacefully someday.

A friend of mine opened her home to her mother-in-law and sis-in-law who became homeless.  She helped to support them during their time of need.  The sis-in-law stole some her clothes and other property.  Some people are pathetic.

Mons,
Why do you assume because I shared a true story of my life I mock you?
Not a clue what you are referring to.

I am confused...what happened?
And there is no such thing as a nice thief. As for family, they can be pests.

sub4hire, don't you think sending your niece to jail over a lighter is a little harsh (and a waste of the cop's time)? Whatever happened to good corporal punishment or a call to your brother to solve this? my opinion.

It just goes to prove that sub4hire and KatyLied are little, pathetic people.....Or possibly you are unable to judge a situation rationally....I wouldn't be surprised at this point to find that your niece is actually the reincarnate of Mother Theresa.

Do you understand anything that anyone ever says to you?  I highly doubt it.

ps:  I'm 5'9", so I guess you are wrong again.

Not really.  When you learn the background of the situation I think you'd understand.  However nobody has asked yet.

You know mons we have been here before. Perhaps it would be best for you not to post in response to people until you can actually read and understand what they are saying to you. Your response to KatyLied and sub4hire is rude, arrogant and totally unecessary. They were not joking or laughing at you but imparting actual stories of things that have happened to them.

In future make sure you know what you are talking about before responding in such a way. It makes you look ridiculous.

Some people get off on ridicule: I wonder this is a prime example of that :-)  ?

I really think you need to learn to understand the english language better...i believe you have no understanding of it, or of people in general.  Not everyone is against you....wake up and smell the roses

I've decided it's okay, if she wants to indulge in some masochism.

I'm not sure she even understands what that means.

You are just upset that finally someone has taken the time to figure you out.....Your story was an obvious attempt at mocking her life.  I feel sorry for you.

It reminds me of a story.

My cousin fell on hard times so I invited him and his wife to stay while they got back up on their feet....While he diligently went out every day to look for a job...I don't think his wife made it to her feet once...All fours, knees and back, absoloutely.....One day he came back a little early to find his wife with her nose in my navel....He was incredibly hurt and pissed off....I told him, " I took the two of you in, and now your getting some sort of 'tude with me?....She's not even all that anyways....Get the fuck out of here!!!"

I was a little worried about future ramifications as to how they might be treated by the rest of the family when they heard about what had transpired....Thankfully, on the way to the shelter they were run over by a semi.

It's  funny how things tend to work out.
