Sinergy -> Fund raising, 2008 (7/17/2007 7:18:42 PM)

I was watching Countdown with Keith Olberman, which is not really holding my interest very much, but he was interviewing a campaign expert (name escapes me)

Apparently, the Democratic candidates are getting a shocking level of campaign financing, with the biggest winner being Barak Obama, who beat out Clinton in monies collected.

The campaign expert person said that comparatively, the Republicans are getting a shockingly low level of financing, and the person put it down to a general malaise among conservatives about the next election.

I am a bit curious what effect this is having on Senate and House campaigns.

Something like $80 million for the Dems vs $50 million for the Republicans. I've heard the "malaise" reasoning, too.

The guest was Craig Crawford, I think.

     Well, Republicans ARE supposed to be more conservative with money.... [8|]

That's the only time you'll ever see a Kennedy carrying any cash on them at election time.
