Is there a reason why there's no option for switch trans when filling out your collarme profile?

Thanks.

In all seriousness, it probably would narrow the number of hits from a few, to a very few.
Maybe the filters are better set to screen out larger categories of members, so that the person searching can do the rest on their own..

I certainly wouldn't take it as any sort of negative.

To clarify, I was less concerned about finding my preference of partner and more concerned for trans people and what they chose to identify as.  I think it's competely unfair and kind of disgusting that just because you ID as trans you suddenly can't specify you are switch on this site. Seems limiting and almost fetishizing to trans people, as if they're being forced to simplify their identies.  Cisgendered people have the option of switch; trans people should too.

I just tried it on my profile, and it allowed me to select both transgendered and switch

hmmm... but when you go to "edit profile" there's an option for "actively seeking" -- and switch trans is not listed.

You already said you weren't talking about choosing a filter for search terms, and you have apparently just made up a lie about the self ID choices in order to be 'disgusted' and outraged on behalf of other people.

I suspect that the missing term you are looking for is 'troll'.

I just assumed that if it wasn't an option to search, it wasn't an option to identify! which  I was obviously mistaken about. I would hope that doesn't render my point moot -- it's still limiting.
