!!  Are you trying to start another fat thread?  [:D]

you know, he is just a trouble maker, that Level, lol  [;)]

Yeah I think that was in the CM orientation packet

WiseCracknSadist -> RE: Littleone??? (7/15/2007 6:14:19 PM)

I like guys like Rover. They show me I'm a threat to them  by attacking me trying to pull me down to their level. It's all right man I'm sure you're a good guy. Just relax bubba.

ornjkitty -> RE: Littleone??? (7/15/2007 6:46:18 PM)

That one (at least from a stranger) tends to get my back up, too.  I'm 5', I've always been the smallest kid on the playground, and being called that just brings out that pissy, "Yeah, I'm shorter than you but I can still beat you up" attitude from grade school.  Not so sure that was the mood they were aiming for, there!  LOL

Hi

Ok i do not know how often a Dominant or Master have called me littleone, ok i can understand such nicknames on a slave, almost like on an animal yes? but sometimes it seam to me to be rather ridiculus, i am sorry but i do. i am 170 cm tall that is about 5.6 feet i think and i wight 130 kg witch is about 285 pounds. i have to fight not to luagh when some Dom call me littleone.

So my question is, why on earth do so many Dominants call every submissive, bottom and slave littleone, why not find another nickame when that word simply do not fit very well?

i wish you well

I don't call "every" person that.

I do call Fox that from time to time.

Why? He adores it, he honestly wishes that we could switch a few inches off of him and give them to me, but that's not going to happen.

Why does he adore it? I don't know. Come to GLLA and ask him. I'm putting him up for auction that Saturday afternoon.

Excuse me while I cower for an appropriate period of time.

They are all "little" when they are on their knees with their forehead on the floor.

dawntreader -> RE: Littleone??? (7/15/2007 8:09:27 PM)

i like it [:)]

MaamJay -> RE: Littleone??? (7/15/2007 8:18:24 PM)

My sub side likes it from an appropriate person (just Master these days) simply because i have always been a large person so it was never said while i was growing up! I was never Daddy's lil girl and i kind of missed that. The fact that Master is 6'4 while i am a mere 5'10 makes it relevant! But it still wouldn't matter if He and i were closer in size.

I will be meeting a fem sub this week, she is only very short in height and I have already asked her about her feelings if I might use little one as a term of endearment. I feel warm as a Dominant using it, very similar to LadyPact's explanation. She does feel it might press a few buttons, so I'm getting used to calling her pet which she does like! But I agree with the concensus that it shouldn't be generic or automatic, keep it for being special!

They are disrespectfull and rude, I delete peopelw ho call me such things if they don't know me well, its disrespectfull. I'm not an animal, nor do I belong to that person, MJ calls me by my given name, I can't say I have EVER heard Him call me any pet name, besides His 'slave' on a few postings I have up and in some IM conversations and calls.

A few close guy friends have called me 'little one' or along those lines, thats fine since they know me well; for a stranger to call me such things, damn, that person better hope they catch me on a good day, or they will get my 'other' side all over their ass. [:D]

Because they have no manners, they look down on bottom-types, they think its 'ok,' they are wankers or fakes or trolls.

Whye ven use a nickname unless yuo know the person, use their screename or if they identify themself in another manner on thier page or profile; THAT is much more respectfull and polite, verses sometihng less approprate.

How would a top-type like if I called them, 'troll' or 'wannabe' or even 'top.' Respect needs to be there from the start.

subfemale27 -> RE: Little one??? (7/15/2007 9:57:18 PM)

i love 'pet' names. it makes me feel that i am desirable and all warm and fuzzy![image]http://www.collarchat.com/micons/m16.gif[/image]

ShyMistress -> RE: Littleone??? (7/15/2007 10:07:14 PM)

I use "little one" in the context of  "one whom I guide" and yes one whom I protect sort of way. "My sweet" and "sweets" are My two personal favorites to use though [:)]

Another thing I like to do regarding names is fashion a pet name around their real name, robyn becomes "My little songbird" for example (especially if she could sing!) [:D]

hideandseek -> RE: Littleone??? (7/15/2007 10:33:45 PM)

I love it, but that's because I'm a daddy's little girl.

BabyNyla -> RE: Littleone??? (7/15/2007 10:37:02 PM)

I love love love when Daddy calls me *little one* but I hate hate hate when my ex does it.  To me, it's a caring name and also implies ownership in a way (but that is just my opinion and feeling).  And it is also a name that works well with out age play, since I like to act like a child :-)

DiurnalVampire -> RE: Littleone??? (7/15/2007 10:42:49 PM)

I use little one for any sub who has shown interest in me, like most people would use sweetie or hon. Its natural to me,and I have been doing it since I started in the lifestyle years and years ago. Its not an insult, nor a statement of ownership... just an acknowledgement of someones potential status. If they ahv never expressed any sort of interest in me, I dont use it.
And it has nothing to do with size for me, at 5'4, Ive even refered to one of my close friends and one of the most submissive men I know (who happens to be 6'7) as little one.
I call Angel that, but never Kitten. *shrug*

scifi1133 -> RE: Littleone??? (7/16/2007 1:09:04 AM)

To me it is a term of endearment also meaning to convey protection.

Polynikes -> RE: Littleone??? (7/16/2007 5:51:17 AM)

"They say it relating to the sub/slaves "station" rather then their actual physical size. i can relate to what you are saying though because i too am not "little" but when i hear it being said it just makes me smile.  i hear it more in a - you are under my protection kind of way." - velvetears

That is exactly how I mean it when I use it with my sub/slave.

onestandingstill -> RE: Littleone??? (7/16/2007 7:40:00 AM)

I'm a tall woman.
I've dated big 6'5 260lb body builders that could easily call me little one and men my height who wore smaller pants than I did that were way littler than I.
Both could have called me their little one.
It sends me to the moon when someone who I love calls me that, or when my friends use it as a term of endearment.
I go right to where a little daddy's/mommies girl would be in that safe, loving, parental sort of protected womb of energy wave that comes from their spirit to mine in that utterance.

It's the exposed vulnerability and belonging as their special one that I feel is hit on, not my physical being.
It's the ear of my inner child that's hearing & feeling that term
That's what associating with that term makes me think of ,and what it brings out in me.

slaveofKaos -> RE: Littleone??? (7/16/2007 9:44:44 AM)

I definatly like it when a Master calls me litleone one says good girl it makes me smile and blush and I always take it as a sign of endearment. I think one can tell when a Master is saying something to be humiliating and when he's saying something to be nice or appericiative.

Dnomyar -> RE: Littleone??? (7/16/2007 11:32:24 AM)

I can see why someone would not want to be called littleone all of the time. Im tired of being called tall dark and hansome.
