Drama is emotionally draining.  It is nonsensical and a useless waste of time that could be used for much more unselfish endeavors.  Drama itself screams "LOOK AT ME!!  NO REALLY, ONLY LOOK AT ME.  NOWHERE ELSE IS AS IMPORTANT AS ME!"
Phfft...
I'll admit I utilized a bit of drama up until my late 20's..  Then I grew up.
I don't allow it in my life now.  I really, truly, don't.

I steer clear of people with too much drama in their lives, and a little bit goes a long way.  We all have our issues in life, but I have to admit that drama repulses me like the smell of spoiled cabbage.  I become disinterested in the people involved.  Drama just sucks the energy from me (and not in the "come on funny feeling!" way), and I don't have any energy to spare! [sm=ugh.gif]

Somedays these boards read like an episode of Jerry Springer. I just can't figure out if I'm doing just fine or if my life is just really boring. At any rate, I don't think I want to trade it in for the alternative.

Peace is something I seek, serenity is a treasure... peace and serenity are all that matter to me these days. I pity people that are chaos seekers, unfortunately they tend to find that which they seek... I have had more than a few friends that seemed to always be surrounded by some major calamity... and although it is tempting to believe that they enjoy it, I do not think that they do... they are usually people that learned this sort of life while young and they just do not know how to escape it.

For the most part my life is boring, with interspersed drama brought on by other people's problems... I always endeavor to follow my mother's advice Never surround yourself with people that have more troubles than you do. Being the tender hearted person that I am, it is hard advice to follow... but my own personal sense of peace and serenity demands that I do...

I avoid drama like the plague. I would rather be having fun[:D]

My life goes through cycles of being very dull and then having complete chaos.
Getting everything on an even keel is the trick and that takes some effort.

I dunno if drama is in my life at the moment.

I do seem to be going through a bit of a dark, creepy phase at the moment however.
