He could have gone to any country in the world and been appreciated for his footballing skills so he chooses the country that won't appreciate his skills. I guess that says something about his intelligence or maybe, his bloody-mindedness.

.........Or maybe because wifey wants a Beverley Hills lifestyle!

I heard that it is David who is going to host a current affairs chat show and Posh will conduct political interviews.

*falls about laughing*  Sorry, SMF, but the very idea of Posh having the first clue about politics is hysterical. She may be the world's authority on what colour nail polish to wear but she's about as suited to politics as Pavarotti is to ballet dancing! [:D]

In that case colour yourself happy! They're touring later this year to support their greatest hit, sorry hits, package. [;)]

pahunkboy -> RE: Posh and Becks in America (7/13/2007 8:16:51 AM)

this bird wont fly!!!

he seeks to promote soccor in America. America is baseball, football, basketball.

male soccor wont fly- cos- men dont want to see male legs. famale soccor has a better chance.

in 30 years- Americas demographics will be more brown- and ripe for soccor. but not in the next 10 years.

send over a famle soccer team- and maybe there would be an audience.  [asuming they shave thier legs....]

...minor hijack........what the US calls soccer is really football. A derivation of the game banned by Henry VIII because it was so popular people stopped doing archery practise to play it. What Americans call football is merely a version of rugby, and apparently that was imported to the US via Canada.
We now return you to your usual programming........[:)]

However, why a world class footballer would would want to bury himself in a country that doesn't follow the sport, I've no idea.

Xenu told him to do it.

male soccer wont fly- cos- men dont want to see male legs. female soccer has a better chance.

Pahunk: take you girl friend out to watch those socceroos and ask her what she thinks of their muscly thighs in those tight short - shorts.
You can even take a peek yourself if you feel so inclined. lol

The jolly old BBC has just opened the evening 6 o'clock news with the Beckham reception. This must be really BIG.

Ok- a soccor player would have good strength and control per his legs.

In general- men are the sports audience/particpants. Why?
if a man can get the ball in. his expertise would translate into --fertilzing egg in female.   so- between men- who excells at sports - is better at propagation of teh race.

Now for females- one shoudl consider romanian gymnast- on the bars- a flexable body. again- if teh female can flex in every posistion- the egg has a better chance of propagating teh species.

which leads me to life. it is all about teh orgasm. men chase success to get the best orgasms. so career, status, money- get the blonde boobs- hence better orgasms.   see?

Too cerebral Pahunk. ie you are thinking too much.
Just cast your eyes over those hot muscly thighs and you will know what I mean.
Forty four hot thighs on display all at once. Rippling and glistening in the afternoon sun.
You know I'm right.lol

Now, this issue goes both ways. We tend to think Americans are far more obedient than we are e.g. obedient to god, obedient to a system/government that is hell-bent on destruction, obedient to corporate power, and obedient to the army - I just can't get my head 'round why a killing machine would be put on a pedestal away from criticism. This doesn't happen here. None of this is adopted from England.

'Not a criticism, UR, but maybe we all point the finger at each other to make ourselves feel like we're our own masters? I know I've been guilty of it in the past.

UR, England is a weird place, and full of inconsistencies and contradictions. It may seem on the face of it that we bow down, but this is only part of the story.

HAR!

Gent ole buddy....

There's a lot for me to respond to here. But I'm gone for weekend.....and I'll catch up with you Sunday morning.

Have an exceptional weekend  ; }

'Look forward to it, UR. I know it will make for interesting reading. I have a feeling we'll end up somewhere along the lines of never judge a book by its cover - both ways.

Cheers.
