Most folks know what service is. The normal stuff you do (vanilla or lifestyle) to help someone else: from opening doors, cleaning the house, running an errand, and so on. But what do you think when you hear "Kinky Service"? I am asking since I do a presentation on it and I am interested in input from a wide variety of sources before, and without, my definition and discussion on it. How would you define “Kinky Service” and what kind of tasks or things would be included? Input either here, or privately in my CM mail, would be appreciated. Thank you all. ~ann

For me, the single only thing I think of is top and bottom. Reason being in my definition a top or bottom. Plays and walks away. Essentially giving the person they are playing with a service of sorts. No committment nothing bonding beyond the time they are playing. As we know playing comes in many different forms. It can be cleaning the house as well a specific way, specific dress, etc.

OK, thanks so far.. if i am reading you right sub4hire, you see kinky service as a "service top" or "service bottom" someone who plays to give the other what they want. yes, thanks... Rover, yes i agree: serving one's kinky needs/desires/fantasies..... i will send you my contact in CM mail, be glad to share more about it.. i am redoing the presentation to add more to it for an event on the 20th of this month.. it was an hour presentation but this time is it for a 90 minute time slot.. thought i'd get/add some new ideas and views.. May i ask, What are some different ways that is done? what makes it kinky as appose to just service? Different kinds of kinky service you think of.. i.e. doing the dishes is service.. doing them in a maid's outfit makes it more "kinky". Giving a friend a ride is service, picking them up in a detailed car, chauffeur's outfit/hat, opening the doors and role playing the chauffeur is makes it a kinky service...

I tend to think of service with a kink- that is, taking the mundane service and adding a bit of direct kink to them- doing the dishes in shackles and a ball gag, vaccuuming in a leather harness and butt-plug, that sort of thing.

What comes to my mind most is when a top has a "helper assistant" during a scene to prep, hand the top things, clean up and keep things arranged, be a spotter- something like an assistant during surgery.

Thank you all. ~ann I think it could be looked at in several ways: You have the "top" and "bottom" concepts...playing a scene out with each other, usually of a BDSM nature, with or without "roleplaying" of stronger D/s roles than what may be in place. You have the concept of performing mundane service functions with a twist...besides the ones mentioned, I think of serving as art (bound shibari style into a "display"), serving as a piece of furniture (such as an ottoman...on knees and hands, perhaps with wrists and ankles tied together but with enough "give" to allow the positioning). Finally...you have the concept of using a submissive as a sex/play toy. Spending a day using them sexually and/or for BDSM play whenever the dominant chooses with no foreplay other than the submissive being told that this is their main purpose/task for the day. For humiliation/emphasis on the use factor, have them perform normal tasks when you are not using them.

Perhaps service in a kinky situation? For example, I can cater a kink event without the organizers having to worry about me getting all squicked out over the bad bdsm porn movie showing or people wandering around nekkid or in bondage. While I am not personally doing anything particularly kinky, I am in the middle of very kinky stuff that most caterers might be calling the police about. It's a kinky service to provide service at kinky events.

Thank you all. ~ann I really can't say I have anything come to mind - I'm wondering why the term service needs to be modified with the word kinky? I read through the thread and I'm not sure why putting on a uniform before performing a service makes it kinky - its still just service to me. But I'm having issues these days with the proliferation of new terms when the existing ones are fine, so it could just be me and my own issues. C~

Yes for me the outfit can make anything kinky. I'll open a door, wash a car, perform a service et cetera but kinky service would be getting all latex-y, perhaps plugged or (CB) belted, or in some form of restraint and then performing the service...

For mine it's not practical,easy to say but (24/7) i dont think so.Both owner and servent would become bored and would soon tire,so there would be no thrills to look forward to. I think kinky service as such,should only be instigated at the owners request.If your a do me type.........tuff. As for what kinky service is,it can be anything your owner dreams up,outside of normal service as stated above.
