I know that I  read an article on "how to ruin a submissive" or something along those lines. Now, I can't seem to find it anywhere. The only "rule" that I remember is to be inconsistant. Does anyone remember this...or know where I might be able to find a copy of it? Thanks!

I'm confused, why would you want to have a bad submissive or slave? 

Isn't the purpose to be pleasing?  to do as the Master says?

I guess I missed something all of these years.

I think it's one of those "how to not" pieces for masters. Being inconsistent is a great way to a bad a dominant after all.

a misunderstood question. draegan... learn more on how to better communicate. the strongest tool a true Dom has is communication. communicate poorly and you get a poor response...
a good Dom is diverse and knowledgeable in all sorts of things... roman history, training horses, plays an instrument, engineering, architecture, art and up-to-date on current events (local news, business and government)... your sub relies on you to be her mentor... her teacher... be everything... to communicate effectively, you have have to be "all-knowing"... be a wealth of kowledge for her to learn from.

still nothing stronger than communication. when anyone speaks... acknowledge them no matter what... and 2 elements to always remember: affinity and reality. if there is no liking, find a common agreement on something in reality.... if there is a common agreement.... develop a common liking... with both of those in place... you can achieve communication. still... don't say what you mean... mean what you say.. .then word it differently so that you can be understood.

Sorry about being unclear.  I am not trying to ruin anyone. The article was written from the standpoint of what NOT to do. I am not sure just where I saw it, but a friend and I got into a discussion about it and I was trying to find it again. It could have been on here or maybe one of those pieces that makes the email circuit every now and then. I was hoping someone else might have seen it and I might be able to put my hands on a copy of it. Again, sorry for any confusion.

It's been my experience that as you talk to a potential/future sub to listen to what they tell you about their history.. 99% of the time you'll hear a lot of "what not to do"... LOL

Haha, but don't listen to them. You have to be yourself. Don't try to act some store bought, phony way. Eventually, being your normal self, confidently (or not so confidently if that is normal for you) being a friend in addition to being a Dom and you just may end up a Master...if you want. There are no secret handshakes.

How not to be a dominant:
 
1- Insist on calling the sub "mommy"
2- Finish each order with "well, only  if you really want to".
3- After tying the sub down, put on a blindfold, pick up a cane, and start screaming "pinata time!"
