Date drugging  someone is about sex?, no its about control and violence, you are putting a poison in someones body to render them incapable of making any rational or otherwise decision, taking away  their ability their right, to consent, deny consent, walk, talk, fuck  like a bunny or staple your testicles to your ankles. How is it gentle? Granted its not having a knife to your throat, frightening> its not being punched or held down and having your body viciously violated while you are aware. It is however a violation of a humanbeings basic rights. and can screw up a mind seriously.
just my two cents on the date drug issue, and no, Ive never been date raped, but Ive met and worked with those that have
As for the castration cure... tooo many variables for me to make an informed choice.....that and im tired. Personally Id like to staple all their testicles to their ankles and give them repeated daily doses with a cattle prod, m but thats another post

I completely agree.  A person who is unable to comprehend that person A forcing person B to engage in non-consensual sexual relations, regardless of the lifelong damage to person B's psyche, and who has convinced himself that it is somehow part of the natural human sexual relations, will never be swayed by logic.

I tend to go with the "If s/he says no, it is rape" paradigm.

Violent? He slips a something that's pretty much a sleeping pill. She has a cozy nap while he has his way with her. Often, it's gentle.

You may dislike the fact it was rape. You may find it offensive. You may call it "violent" on the grounds of what it does to the victim. But the rapist, in such a case, did not do it to be violent.

I would be open to seeing that in an article, as I have not heard any accounts of pill-rape being  'gentle'.

Re: chemical castration. IMO If it works: "just do it."  I would also like to see plenty of follow up.  The problem of course is that many of this ilk are cunning, and would do everything they could to hide the sickness within.

When i was a lot younger (i am 50 now) the date rape drug of choice was booze.  get er drunk and get er done.  it was accepted by the male dominated society that it was consensual just by her being there.  she had to want it or she would not have been in the club.  thats what all the guys want there.  (not me, but i am a poor excuse for a guy). 

It is a common fact that castrating a chimp does little to calm him down.  it just frustrates the hell out of him.  he becomes more violent and usually has to be put to sleep.  Chimps are the only animals other than humans (and some would say dogs) that masterbate.  Without this, they go insane.if this is basal anamalistic behavior, in the long run, it will do the same to sexual preditors.  We have the data to back that up.

Now if the person wants to change and if their desires do rule their thoughts and they are looking for a cure, this will work.  the altering of the hormnes will eventually invoke a "eunuch calm" in many.  the ones that want it.  the ones that don't become sexually frustrated.  This is documented well throughout history.  However, it should be noted that when the eunuchs punished the women in the hareem, they could get very violent. 

The state, therefore should mearly provide this for the ones that want it and it has to be followed extensively by therapy  for over a year before release (probably much longer).  castration does not remove much.  Less than a quarter lb of mostly fat.  It's the other 11 lbs that has to want to change or we do not fix a thing (cept the dude).

i know this, not because i am a sexual preditor or even predisposed to it.  i read a lot about it because this is a desire of mine.  HOWEVER, i am not about to rape someone just so i can have my nads wacked off.  that just is so not me.  i am not a victem and i don't want this done to me not even for me and certainly not by me.  just don't feel comfortable as a man.  These offenders feel fine within the framework of Male therefore in the long run for most, sadly they will regret their get out of jail card and eventually feel the need to get back at the system for what was done to them.

Sexual assault is generally defined as any sexual activity—including intercourse, penetration, touching, etc.—that is nonconsensual . According to the Department of Justice, sexual assault is a violent crime. ( http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/bjs/cvict_c.htm )

"Your Honor, I am not a violent criminal; I am just a loser who drugs and rapes people because I can't get laid unless the other person is incapacitated or dead." Hmm, not a good defense. And if you wake up from a "cozy nap" in your jail cell one day with a sore ass, be sure to thank your cellmate for being so gentle with his sleeper hold.

OT: I couldn't even muster up any sympathy for murdered ex-priest/convicted child molester John Geoghan. I have doubts about letting sex offenders exchange their balls for freedom, because as another person pointed out, they can still offend.
