how cool :)

i just saw an ex of mine on the site... i introduced him to the whole lifestyle about a year ago
he just created an account last month :)

apparently he's a Dom... and an expert in fisting...

sometimes life is funny that way...

have you ever had that happen?

like... introduced an ex to the lifestyle and then watched them later develop interest?

its just interesting :)

a psychology expert at 21? Well, what the fuck, it is just a checkbox, and I ignore whole profiles when I like the looks of the girl, why not checkboxes?

I find it interesting he could be an expert at anything since it has only been a year since he was even introdused to the lifestyle ((Shrugs))

You ~can~ fist people before you are interested in BDSM....

Having said that, I haven't introduced others and seen their interest develop after they left me, but that is what happened to my ex-husband - who now claims to have no involvement in the lifestyle, while I'm an educator in my local community.

This is true, it was just that the way it read "he is NOW an expert in fisting" led me to think otherwise, its just how I read it and I may totaly be wrong, stranger things have happend!!

Before I was introduced to BDSM I could never get nipple clamps to "stay."....In fact I couldn't get a girl to "stay" either....But then I developed Domiguys 10 steps to Financial freedom, bondage and degredation and every thing fell into place....

I was introduced to the lifestyle and quickly became way more interested in it than my ex...which is actually why we broke up. Now, he's as much as disappeared from it as near as I can tell and well...I'm totally immersed.

I claim no expertise in anything...except maybe an uncanny knack at inserting foot into mouth on occasion.

Once upon a time I introduced a vanilla friend to the language of BDSM so that we could at least speak the same language and he wouldn't freak (he was pretty open-minded to begin with). We talked, I met someone, we fell into occasional e-mail contact.

(Fast forward several years)

I find myself solo, place a profile on a similar site. Said friend emails me and is "interested." Claims he has 20+ years of experience.

It coulda been so much fun to mess with him, but someone clearly injected me with tact and a doses of grace and compassion as a young child.

I've had a few Ex's whom the cause of the seperation was not enough kink in the relationship and they were just not interested in it(and this was before I got involved in the scene)...years later I find their profiles popping up on alt.com...I couldn't resist poking them to see what made them change their minds.

Ha, yeah. I once dated a boy named Bob. He was the sweetest, most caring sort of guy. We didn't last long, and are still good friends. However, during one of our "moments", I brought in a pair of handcuffs.

i have an ex-Dom who's also a member here. he hasn't changed his ways - still looking for that stable of women (since he travels around the tri-state area, IL-IN-WI) and he wanted me to find him a woman to replace me ...also did that "your Daddy won't know if you don't tell him about seeing me" after requesting that i show up at his hotel room.

thats what i think is so funny about it... he has "expert" next to almost everything BDSM related... i just picked to mention fisting because the idea of him doing that to me when we were together, was just so disgusting to him...

a little short of a time frame to be an expert in everything... especially seeing as we broke up, gosh... not even a year ago...

and at that point, he didnt hardly know about any of this...

i can remember the exact scenario... where we were... what we were doing... the first time i mentioned it...

You are going to find that people puff themselves up in all sorts of ways, especially on-line. The test is their behavior in real life. Sometimes you never know, and you are left going wtf?

Just like on resumes, people will add 'fluff' to a resume to make themselves look better, jokes on them,I worked in HR for a while, when te came ino for an interview, I would 'test' them on what looked like 'fluff' most failed.

Some newbies put that they are an 'expert' in things that they WANT to be an expert in, or things that they think will make them appealing to those that they wish to play with. Caution is SOP if you are smart. I don't take much at face value, unless I know the face very well.

Three years ago, somebody briefly introduced me to light bondage (his mother interrupted, and we wound up breaking up shortly after). Fast forward to a couple of months ago, a broken engagement (on my end), and the same guy and I start hanging out again...and wind up picking up right where we left off. Only now, there is a very different dynamic to our relationship. We in no way anticipated actually getting back together, but not only did we realize how much we'd missed each other's company, he found himself with a willing sub (and not a girl just indulging his suggestions) and I found myself with a wonderful protector and supporter. He's my Sir, my boyfriend, and my companion, and I wouldn't have it any other way. :-)
