If the Iraqis WANTED to be Free, they could have, at any time, had their own Revolution. That's why the idea of "Giving them freedom" is so misguided. I wonder if he issued the "Kennedy challenge" before he was arrested? "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM!!!???" And he had quite the assortment of drugs with him too! Adoral, Vicodin. Isn't Adoral an Amphetimine? I wonder if he'll be going to a "rehab" instead of jail? Huh! You wouldn't catch a Kennedy in a "prius."

How judgemental for a liberal. Our main goal in going into Iraq was to get rid of a possible threat after 9/11 not to free the Iraqis. The freedom was a hoped for side effect which I still believe Iraqi people want, unlike you.

My bad, and Apologies for misspelling your name Stef, it was not intentional or a slight. I think Albert Gore III's history of Drug use and him being alone in a car that had been smoked in, is pretty convioncing evidence that he was stoned. Driving at 100 mph would air out the smell pretty quickly, so it had been recently smoked in, or it was smoked in constantly for a long period of time giving it a permenant reek. You can assume with absolutly no evidence that he is being set up and framed by the Cops. But that is just pulled out of thin air. I do not understand why you are ducking my response to you. You challenged me on my assertion that everyone demanding Full due process for Gitmo folks is demanding that we expose hundreds (or more) agents. I do find it ridiculaous that you( and so many others) are acting so upset about valerie (who did drive to work openly at the CIA headquarters everyday, no matter what the Comedian Bill Mahr said in a rant), while demanding the exposure of many active field agents and the exposure of data collection methods. Because that is what Due Process means. You challenged my assertion, I responded, and now you have no response, but are still pretending you are right?

Uhhhhhhhhh, that is one of the problems with a free and open society, you have the right to face your accuser. This red herring has been brought up more than once, but in any case, you don't need a 100 agents per to give the day in court to the accused man. This ain't a really clandestine operation in the first place, and they have no need of anonymity. Lam earlier, perhaps in this thread perhaps, perhaps another thread, indicated with a New Yorker article (I belive) how a great deal of some of the assured terrorists were given up. Now as for the poor assholes yanked off the street because they had a vaguely foriegn sounding name, or the guys who gave up anything they can think of because bob vila clamped the new craftsman easy on easy off plier with synergistic racheting action from Sears to their nuts........ Bullshit!!!!!!! There is no clandestine CIA or DIA or FBI involvement that requires anonymity....this is a military action against terrorists, nothing to hide. Ron
