Level -> Fired Grey's Anatomy star: "I am not homophobic" (7/4/2007 7:06:40 AM)

LOS ANGELES - Isaiah Washington doesn't regret lashing out at “Grey's Anatomy” co-star Patrick Dempsey — he just wishes he would've chosen a different word to express his frustrations.

In his first TV interview since his dismissal from the show, Washington defended his actions during an appearance on CNN's “Larry King Live” on Monday night, blaming co-star Patrick Dempsey's repeated tardiness to the set for the blowup that eventually ended with Washington using a homophobic slur.

However, the former Dr. Preston Burke claims he was referring to himself, not co-star T.R. Knight, when he made an anti-gay remark.

This is one of my favorite shows, I hate to see all this happen.

my siblings do this. one has to take it with a grain of salt. i do if im near them. if they went on and on with the slams then ild maybe be offended but a brief expression is no big deal- when you know the loved one is just being them....  so one has to consider the context.

Knight should have should called him a nigger back, then everyone would be even and no one would have had to be fired.

Yet another reason that anger management classes should be
offered on the set for both talent and production personnel.  [;)]
