my oldest UM cheated death 7yrs ago on the 26th when she was hit by a train.  though she did flatline for 30seconds after impact, she does remember seeing the tunnel of white light and meeting Jesus however she has no memory of the train actually hitting her. i think it's a good thing she doesn't ...it's better she's finally sharing her feelings about what happened to her.

She met Jesus? What was he wearing?

not going to answer your stupid remark since it was said sarcastically. it's not funny when you're sitting in the office to receive a phone call from a relative to say that your UM was hit by a train ...not knowing the full details ...wondering if she's alive or dead. that was the most horrible day of my life which doesn't go away.  so if i were you, apologies should be said for that reply you made.

"Stupid remark?"
It was a legitimate question.
Kind of along the lines of "what would Jesus wear?"
I mean I've never heard of anyone actually "meeting" Jesus as in Christ.
Isn't it a natural question to wonder what he'd wear?
(And I hope it's not "flowing white robes!")

my cousin was hit by a train when she was 28 but she didn't cheat death.. my uncle had to find out about it from a photo in the paper of an unknown woman hit by a train.......  Pahunk, I woiuld say your friend cheated death. First you said he was smoking, then you said he might be giving a BJ (hard to keep your eyes on the road), and now you are saying he might have been DUI. WOW.  I bet he wasn't wearing his seatbelt either.

Popeye, I had to laugh! I think your question was completely appropriate! Has anyone ever really thought about what Jesus really wears? All I've ever seen him in is a flowing white robe or a little bath towel like thing, also white.  Seen in pictures that is, I've never actually seen Jesus. But being the cool dude he is, I bet he could dress sharp if he wanted to.

i got word on my best friend.  the other day he was in a bac car accident. he was reaching for a cigararrette, his SUV ran off the road-down a 200 foot ravine!!!  there is nothing left of the car- and he has no memory of it.

he is being held for observation.

unbelievable!  i hope he is ok.

i cheated death 1 time. it wasn't my turn plane and simple.

Yet more proof that smoking is dangerous.

I hope your friend is ok.

Maybe the fact that he was leaning over and reaching for a cigarette put him in a position to avoid decapitation.

Yet more proof that smoking saves lives.

One of the more interesting attempts on my life came in the emergency room at the hospital.  I had been in a motorcycle accident and was immobilized in bed...the fool in the bed next to me had just had a heart attack and was on oxygen but conscious, when he lifts up his oxygen mask and lights up a cigarette next thing I know everything to my left is a wall of flame.  One of the doctors shut the oxygen off and sprayed the fool and his bed down with a fire extinguisher.  Kind of an interesting thirty seconds.  Yeah the old fool died and damn near took a dozen non combatants with him.

Farmbound, I thought so.
Kind of along the lines of "what's he like?" "Did he tell you any good jokes?" "Oh shit, he's God, he has the BEST jokes!"
"Was he a hot shit?"
Did he say anything about that Jerry Falwell?"
I mean what's he like? Doesn't everyone want to know?
I bet his golf handicap is "0"!
Does he like a few beers once in a while?

The bible seems to indicate that his preference was for wine.
