Hi again; So, what's your point? Joanie said she heard voices, Joanie said it was this one and the other......so what is your point? It was perfectly good for Joanie to hear voices, when the state needed a divine characture; a chosen of God; and she served their purpose, and later, it was not good, but crazy, and suited their purpose to condem her....either way, it suited their purpose; both ways. We don't know what Joanie said...we have only those accounts that the church said, that she said. What we have is some very scant info, her village, she was a peasant; of course she would never be made queen, but she may have had an infulence in the running of the state, due to her popularity. She may have voiced disagreement with the throne, thereby causing some trouble and annoying challenges to Charles and the court. She may have been persuaded to 'lead' an opposing army, being their chosen of God. They made her an icon of France, the symbol of France, she was their 'Winged Victory'; their 'Lady Liberty'....and they had to undo that creation, lest she have some unwanted infulence. The Church was the state's handmaiden in this elimination, and thusly, she was eliminated. She should have been forgotten, and left to obsurity; but...maryters seem to rise like a Phoenix from their ashes. Joan will live forever as testimony to the wanton deciet of a governmental authority, greed, and the cruel murderous rule of an omipotent cult.
