The laundry is almost dry on the line - the tablecloths, napkins and aprons are the perfect dampness for ironing. this girl is carefully watching the sky for more rain. The basket is sitting on the ground under the line for quick gathering if it starts raining. [sm=laundry.gif]

Was i supposed to have fun being a service slave? i am gratified by the pleasure it gives the boss to have crisp linens and line dried towels. (besides, he scares me - don't want him upset)

Good grief!!!!!! is it ever going to quit raining,I even went so far as pulling the houseboat up front just in case smile,we really do need to get into the hay fields maybe next week,We always like to start cutting on the 1st of June....fluffy I"LL have a big ol' glass of ice tea with sweat beads running down the side of it 2 sweet and lows if you please..I bought several cases of 32oz glasses just for occasions like theses,Good to see all the wench's back home , where have y'all been....Hot and muggy here today on my mountain top with a small breeze blowing...

Here's your iced tea with 2 Sweet 'n Low's, boss. It didn't take any time at all for the glass to get a good coating of sweat - the humidity is so high. Believe it or not, it stopped raining long enough for the laundry to dry on the line. There was a good breeze. It doesn't have to get bone dry to iron, however.
