Good afternoon Bounty, 6-12 inches of snow on a mountain top...sounds nice to me as long as I have wood for the fireplace/stove, coffee, a few good books and the power doesn't go out.

hello carrieo, 6-12 inches is a very small snow storm for my mountain top smile, always plenty of firewood and the coffee pot is always on,so stop by some time, we have generators to solve the power problem, but I am a back to the land man candles and oil lamps are perfectly fine with me..b

Well Mr. Bounty, sir, you did bring a smile to my face with talk of candles and oil lamps.  I think I've gotten soft over the years, living where I do. 

Funny thing, I'm in New England (albeit the beginning) but all we tend to get here is lots of ice and not enough snow.  Those pretty horses in your photo remind me of the pony I used to have and how he'd get all fiesty when the snow would start flying.

im one of thoes ppl who could probably just hibernate if i had to... but yeah.. a nice big snow storm sounds delicious.. sadly i live on a state route so i never get more then 1 day snowed in... most times not even that. *pouts into my hot tea*

I MISS SNOW >>>. and actually take less pain meds when it is cold than in the heat ..

MissHarlet you can have all the cold you want and keep it too
I had a microfractured collarbone from a motorcycle accident a while back and it is aching ever since it got cold

YW carrie, my horses get all fiesty when the wind blows hard and they just love to roll in the snow, yeper a back to the land man,

MISS H the cold esp when its damp makes my hands hurt old arthur is deep in those bones..

Good morning folks, I am getting a late start to things this morning as i got a fulkl nights sleep first time in a long time, pots are perking and sweets out to tame the hurgurys, its every one for them selfs today and turn off those christmas carols and get the joint to rocking..My little family is all home today and we are serius thinking about a dinner all ready parpared for christmas just making the deserts, cuts down on the work load and lets us more time to enjoy each other, heres Happy Holiday greeting from the Circle c to all of you, enjoy what god has given you..Bounty
