I am looking for advice on body hair removal from the pubic region.  I would like to avoid shaving or pulling the hair from my scrotum.  I must maintain a naked and smooth ball sack.  I would like to know if lasar hair removal can be done on this area.  If so, can anyone who has had it done recommend where to go for this procedure. ( midwest perfered, but we travel often)   After several years of waxing and plucking I would like something more permanent.

I have had lazer hair removal on my underarms. I would imagine it is available for your balls as it is available for women's privates. It is a little painful, although if you are plucking and waxing-- I would say it's worse than plucking, better than waxing.

Just open up your phone book and call arround some places. Being on the phone you have a fair degree of anonymity and just ask them about hair removal of the genitals and if they do that and what might the complications be. They will probably just ask you to come in for a consult-- they are doing this as to not waste time on the phone to a wanker and also to get you in so you can watch a little video or them talk with you about the process, what actually happens, and the price.
Depending on how dark your hair is, they may be able to tell you how successful hair removal will be.

Your hair grows in 3 different cycles so you have to do each 2xs so that is 6 treatments, generally 6-8 weeks apart or something like that so If you choose somewhere to drive, you will be driving there every 6-8 weeks for a year and a 1/2-- and with having your balls don't, I'd imagine the drive home would not be too comfortable so I would suggest the closest legitimate/saf place close to home.

Generally, you take a ziplock baggie of ice to help numb the area, have the zap treatment, then apply the healing lotion they give you.
I would be liberal with the lotion to prevent infection and irritation.
I would do this after work where you can go home and not have anything touching that area for a few hours, it will irritate it in a bad way.

It is not "expensive" when you consider how long it lasts [divide the money over time] and how much you are probably spending on waxes/etc now, but it is not cheap either.
So, when you have your consult be SURE to ask them how long they expect it to last. If they say "I don't know" or "it just depends" -- Press them-- Depends on what??
They can't give you a guarantee for it to stay off the rest of your life, but they should be able to give you a guarantee for a certain amount of years. Of course, this means you can't complain when they turn the zapper up to make sure they meet their guarantee-- but, if the hair isn't leaving and you're not going to do it what's the point in the first place.

Lastly-- Don't pay for all sessions up front.
Sometimes they give a discount for this, don't do it. -- Just go once and AFTER your first appointment if you want to continue baised on how you feel.
It makes sense that someone might not be able to weigh all varraibles untill they have experienced it and there is nothing wrong with trying the first session and then walking away and saving yourself the pain and $$ of the next 6 if it's not something you can do long term-- better that then to walk away on the 4th or 5th appointment, ya know?
**** If you don't complete ALL sessions AT THE TIME WINDOWS, the treatment is not complete and can immediately revert back to the begining.
So 1 treatment can be the same as 5 if you don't complete the 6th. [see what I mean in saying best to walk away after the 1st if not committed?]

JUST CALL your local hair removal, talk with someone, etc. They are used to explaining it to people, people that have never done it before, etc. It's no big deal to get info.

Best Wishes!

P.S. Still have questions?? Still have things you are wondering? What if ___? What if ____? -- CALL a Hair Removal Place Hon!!!!
They are everywhere now-a-days and very accessible-- very normal, just like the dentist.
They can actually answer your questions a lot better than random ppl on here. Plus, they get paid for the time to do it-- lol, a major plus.

Nair for bikini areas works great and it's painless, if you're not allergic to it.  The hair just wipes right off and stays away for about 2 weeks before it starts to grow back in.  It's a lot cheaper than laser.  Just test on the inside of your thigh first to make sure you're not sensitive to it.

laser is available for this area.... it will take a few session due to the hair growth cycles, each cycle has to be zapped

electrolysis is permanant removal of the hair & future hair of each follicle but good god the pain would be intense

laser feels like a rubber band snap... electrolysis feels like someone grinding out a cigar on your flesh
