More I just want to talk to people like that and plus we stopped talking considering whenever I talk to someone on here they always seem like they never want to answer my questions like what kinds of things do they enjoy or when I explain what I like in a sub or slave.  And when I message the things im looking for are totally different than what im telling in this forum.  Im always to eager to message people and I send to many messages which scare them.  I need to only send one message and if they want to talk good or if they dont ok.

My parents had a 1950's household.  My mom did not think that men were superior and my dad didn't think women were lessser.  It worked for them to have my mom at home until we were in school.  She later returned to work.  Nothing more, nothing less.

Mastermozilla -> RE: Female slaves and the 1950s lifestyle (6/27/2007 5:56:43 PM)

Yeah but thats totally different because that is because of you.  You are the one who put that together.  Its hard to say whether a parent at home helps the family.  But the point im making is thats because they wanted to take care of you not because of anything else.  They loved you and wanted whats best for you.

Well, here we see the "open-minded" attitude that many claim is a staple of bdsm. We are more open minded aren't we?

Masternslave

Honestly, I don't know any who claims it. Certain groups of us may be open-minded but the BDSM population is composed of people. Regular, ordinary people who are head together by a common interest.

White supremacists are different and I do feel they are not born that way.  But what about when ive read from some slaves that they were born that way.  That it's pretty much in their blood. Or from doms.  So feeling that one sex is better does that have to be taught or you learn it from others.  Or is it something in your dna?

I'd vote taught. I was born wired to serve, but I don't serve under any delusion that Valyraen is somehow superior to me.

You are very beautiful Aquatic.

i would like to wade in here...

for Master and i the concept of a 1950's household is one where He is head of the house, and i am the nurturing woman that stays home and cleans and takes care of the home.  It is not the ALL of our relationship, and honestly at this point not the reality either, we are not married yet, do not live together, but...it is the goal.

It is seperate from our BDSM play where i submitt on the cross to His sadistic tendencies and get all warm and fuzzy thinking about the thud of the flogger and the pain of nipple clamps....

It is seperate from our D/s relationship where He is my Master and i strive to be a slave.  That is all encompassing, not just in the home, that reaches into my very being and draws out of me a submission of will as well as my natural desire to please One stronger than me.

And just as a side note... no ... i am not a door-mat...i am not a weakling.  Prior to meeting Master,  i was a single mother, put myself through University full time on my own, then successful in the working world and my chosen profession, and purchased my own home.  Not a damsel in distress.....more of a Proverbs 31 woman....

Ah I love this type of post always revels the split between vanillaDs and Ds/Sm.

Of course you can find many w/this interest.
In fact there is a large mental part of this aspect in any genuine slave and I assume many subs, but of course that’s not the PC thing to admit as can be seen from the many sexist replies here LOL Gosh I love it!

Now if a Dom Female was looking for males to live that lifestyle (and it IS a “Lifestyle”) then no one would be the least” concerned”. HEHE Oh I’m a sub but as and when and how I WANT TO BE, buster so watch out LMAO

SO just stick to your guns and be very upfront and clear as to what you need and why and forget the ever growing numbers of vanilla kinkesters : _)

Enjoy your wonder-filled day

Master and I adore the 1950s' lifestyle. To us it is natural and fulfills a deep need inside.

And yes, we do believe that men in general are superior to females. (guess would think different if I was more into Dommes).

ExSteelAgain -> RE: Female slaves and the 1950s lifestyle (6/28/2007 5:47:53 PM)

A sub once explained the concept to me using an example of an era not in the 1950s. She said it was like when John Wayne puts Maureen O'Hara over his lap in McClintock and spanks her until she happily behaves for him.

marfre -> RE: Female slaves and the 1950s lifestyle (6/28/2007 8:24:44 PM)

And, a young ranch hand spanks Maureen and John's daughter and they all live happily ever after. Theme?

Many of the beliefs and traditions of the 50's lifestyle were widly held for years decades. Men earned the living and women did what it took in the home to keep it running and the breadwinner happy. Obeying their men was part of "what it took" and part of what both genders were taught.

We have pretty much a 1950s marriage. It's not because he's better than me.

Except all the before parts... like when she's been running around on him, dancing with the Governor and when she moves back into the house she dicates where he will sleep and he pretty much tiptoes around her. I'll grant he gets control again but still... I get the feeling she runs that house.

They strike me as much more of a switch couple. [:)]

BlindDescent -> RE: Female slaves and the 1950s lifestyle (6/28/2007 9:20:11 PM)

Since I was born in 1951, I have a bit of firsthand experience of understanding those dynamics. The image and nostalgic expression of a 50s lifestlye was born out of the ability to breathe with a fresh look after the exquisite misery and near world domination by dictators. You might say that as a  nation of men, we became potent dominants in a way. We kicked some major ass and now put that energy into domestic subjugated bliss. The world was healing from major chaos and suffering...we simply needed to have a simplified and smooth running set of expectations. One might look at it like an enlightened emotional feng shui of relationships. Here is my role; here is what I expect of you... Harmony flows from the simplicity of expectations and performance. A recreated 50s lifestlye is a recapturing of those essences. Simplicity, expectation, performance and clear role. Not all that hard if one can distill it to its most essential parts.  My family was blue collar...no matinis or bridge. The roles and expectations still were valid.  I have no clue if I was even close to topic...but fuck it; this was one hell of a loose association then.

sublizzie -> RE: Female slaves and the 1950s lifestyle (6/28/2007 9:23:40 PM)

I, personally, like the concept of a 1950's household but in no way would I support male supremecist beliefs. My parents lived a 1950's household but my mother in no way believed that my father was better than she was in any way, shape, or form. Still don't believe that!

There is a huge difference between a 1950's household and one where one gender is considered to be less than simply due to their plumbing. They may look very similar from the outside, but the belief systems are totally different.

I have no problem with someone believing what they choose to believe. But I couldn't be in a D/s relationship with someone who believed that his "outie" made him genetically superior to me. That is not logical. My submission is a choice, not something due to my gender.

Mastermozilla -> RE: Female slaves and the 1950s lifestyle (6/29/2007 7:00:59 AM)

I agree to disagree with you sublizzie but I love your use of the word outie.  It works very well.
