MHOO314 -> Straightjackets (6/25/2007 6:17:28 AM)

 I haven't seen much posted about these lately, and I am curious about other's experiences and feelings---

Good morning MHOO ma'am.... [:D]

LadyHeart -> RE: Straightjackets (6/25/2007 7:09:37 AM)

Some subs seem to like them, but I sold mine on Ebay because I found it boring. Once the sub was nicely trussed, most of his interesting bits were hard to get at, so for me it was a big yawn. Fine if you want to stand someone in a corner and ignore them, but I like mine struggling and squealing, hehehe

Mel Gibson jokes lost a bit of their flavor for me when he got old ugly and dumb. (not exactly sure how that will come across it was only meant to insult Mel)

as for the streight jacket, I am willing to try anything once, twice if its interesting

As one might guess, I love 'em!
My leather one from Extreme Restraints has velcro patches for the nips- easy access.  Of canvas and leather, I prefer leather- heavier and more comfy.

Now that sounds like fun! Do you mind if I ask where you got it and how much you paid for it?

now i know why babies love to be swaddled! straight jackets not only reinforce the fact that you're completely at someone elses mercy, they also give you the feeling of being in the womb and never wanting to come out; yummmmmmmmm!!!!!

A friend of mine has a leather straight jacket with special flaps on the nipples...Gives access to some of those interesting bits. I don't remember if She got it custom or from a shop.

And with proper training one can wriggle in a straightjacket...Even squirm their way out ;)

MsSonnetMarwood -> RE: Straightjackets (6/27/2007 6:41:10 AM)

As a matter of fact, my pet and I just got a straightjacket and scened with it this past weekend.

The one we got was a black canvas with leather strap one from Extreme Restraints:  http://www.extremerestraints.com/black-canvas-straitjacket_89.html    I'd wanted one of these for a while - my preference for the canvas vs. all leather was partly economic (half the price of the cheapest all-leather jacket) and partly because I thought it would clean better.  The asthetic of the black canvas was more pleasing to me than institutional white canvas.

The jacket was surprisingly heavy and very restrictive - I think it's safe to say we both really enjoyed it :-)  I really enjoyed watching him struggle in it - very hot!   I'm sure we'll get a lot of use out of it in the years to come.

I picked it up on eBay from Extreme Restraints for less than $200, but I haven't seen one on there in a while...  bummer.  This is the one I have: http://www.extremerestraints.com/leather-strait-jacket-with-tit-flaps_306.html.  I just checked eBay, and they are no longer listed... hmmm....

Anyway, the jacket is VERY well made.  Nice heavy leather, lined, first rate stitching, and lots of straps (woohoo!).

A properly done straightjacket shouldn't let you squirm your way out.
I have seen someone squirm out of an older model, though.
The newer ones have straps everywhere, it seems.

Extreme Restraints seems to put overstock or otherwise discounted items on ebay from time to time.  I've gotten one or two really nice items from them at about half the price that way, but it's iffy to count on them having items up for sale.
