I am a 22 year old white male who is exploring and learning about his dominant side with my partner, who lives 800 miles away.  Needless to say this makes it difficult on both of us, but I continue to read and try to learn the best I can about what sort of things we want, so here I am, reading and learning.

theres not as many people on this time of the day as others so, i would suggest reading every board and every topic that catches your eye...go explore profiles too...perhaps you can find another dominant who would be willing to share his experiences with you...i think peer mentoring is an important part of any craft...

I agree, and I am getting a slow start, my sub has been interested in this for quite some time.  I tried to take a self-educated approach, having this romantic idea that it would be what we learned together, but I have come out of my shell and am trying to lear as much as I can.  I have picked up two books, "Screw the Roses, Send Me the Thorns," by Philip Miller, SM 101 by Jay Wiseman, and have already read "The Loving Dominant" by Dr. John Warren.  I think each has its own useful sections, and I will hopefully find things in those books that I can use as a source for things that I myself am curious about.
