i like that song.. and i like the fact that it was someone in the military who wrote it. cuz alot of times when stupid people argue about the whole war thing.. they forget that viewpoint they leave out the most crucial piece .. the ones who do that for a living...

My family is a military family, my sister's husband is career Navy, my ex was in the Coast Guard. They do what they have to do, people forget that sometimes it's not a job they enjoy. I'm huge on supporting our soldiers, thank them every chance I get. That song was just...wonderful and I agree with you. I think it sends a strong message, I hope more people sit up and listen.

I like it too but he misses the point. The Dixie Chicks' song is about the backlash after a comment made by Nathalie Maines that she is ashamed that George Bush is from Texas.  There was nothing said about the troops and she actually received death threats. Scary!!!
