If you have about 10 free minutes, you can fill out some basic questions about various issues on this website and at the end it tells you where you stand politically and then you can compare yourself to other world leaders.... Pretty interesting....

Libertarian right-winger.  I'm not surprised that was were I ranked, but I am a little bewildered as to why Friedman is the only person listed in that category.

Economically left/right: -9.13
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.28

I appear to be as far left as Stalin, but occupy the same area of the chart as Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and the Dalai Lama.

Nah.. Julia a leftist...not a chance in hell....I had you pegged all the way as a middle-of-the-road socially conservative libertarian. My intuition usually serves me well....How is it possible I've made such a bad call?

Because I do not go on and on endlessly about the government's role in society... as long as that government is representative of the people, and ours isn't.

I kinda like things such as roads, hospitals, bridges, and schools... and I think it is the government's job to provide these things... too bad ours is looking for ways to build (Orwellian term for what is happening to Iraq) other countries and not our own

2, -2 acually a little farther right than last time I took the test. I was about 1.7, -1.5 or something like that last time I took the test 6 or so years ago. likely a difference between some of the answers that I was wishing there was something more neutral than agree or disagree. The limits of the questions force an answer so you give one that is closr than the others rather than your exact feelings.

Still pretty darned central and still off in that quarter that seems barren of iconic leaders.

That's about where I've always landed on this thing.
