I'm looking for movies that have dom/sub themes. Movies with a plot, not just about sex. I already have Secretary. :)

"Perils of Gwendoline" is a great bit of camp adventure based on the John Willie comics. "Story of O" obviously. "9 1/2 Weeks" Kim Bassinger. Although the ending is BS. "Dracula" (Langella version) NOT a horror film if you ask me... but rather about romance, seduction, and... uh... "penetration." "Love and Human Remains" "For Personal Services" UK "Labyrinth" ... not about D/s? Watch it again...

"The Pet Movie" has a SM theme, but the acting is not ready for prime time. Good plot, fair at best acting. If you can find it, "Behind the Midnight" explores BDSM and pedophilia. Stefan

The Lover The Phantom of the Opera Boxing Helena The People Under the Stairs - a Wes Craven goofy/horror flick in which the baddies are called Daddy (who dresses up in full leather fetish gear sometimes in the movies) and Mommy i have to agree about Labyrinth - full of BDSM references in it "I ask for so little. I second Labyrinth and Lolita. Quills (about the Marquis De Sade) had some D/s context to it. Several episodes of "Cool Devices" and "Bible Black" feature blatant D/s themes. Blood Royale and Stepmother's Sin are two others a long those lines with very obvious BDSM. I usually tend to find the "subtle" themes...for example, I felt Interview with the Vampire (both the movie and the books) described a very complex D/s relationship between Lestat and Louis. On a side note, one of her books contains a scene which is one of the most erotic I have ever read....From "the vampire armand" when Marius whips armand until he bleeds, then licks his bloody wounds and rapes him...shivers

Lots of fich foreign films - well french mostly - are around. Titles though - I will have to dig not sure I will get to it.

'Boxing Helena' is one of my favorites. It really tends to squick people out.. both the film and the fact that I like it. However if you make it to the end IMO it takes away the squickness (is that a word?).

Labyrinth - yeah I see it there. Lolita? Not so much. Dracula - yeah - see it there too. Try 'The Pillow Book' and for me, 'Leon' is pretty close to the the far left mark. Of course, there is 'Tie me up, Tie me Down' - which I would recommend of 'The Pet' any day. I still can't believe people see that as a BDSM film. Peace the.dark.

Ann Rice wrote a whole series based on M/s, D/s lifestyle. The Sleeping Beauty series. Also there is the Exit to Eden.. which is also good. I dont have much movie knowledge. {copies down list of movies} I had to go an watch "Labrynth" before I could respond, I have watched the movie so many times my tape is in bad condition; I never saw the M/s D/s side it. DAMN. Its still one of my fav movies of all time. I have heard mention of "Hostile" and the movie with Jet Lee in it, the name of it escapes me though. "Phantom of the Opera" is defiantly erotic, and powerfull.

Memoirs of a Geisha to a point Quills again, to a point Totally agree with the Vampire Chronicles (Interview and others) Louis and Lestat Wish there were more but then Hollywood would probably mess them up

It's been awhile since I've seen it but it's one of my fave movies based on a Sarah Waters novel. A british film called "Tipping the Velvet" great on gender-bending and some BDSM incorporated. A must see.

Million Dollar Baby. Not one sexual scene, but to me one of the most touching portrayals of a relationship based on discipline, respect, obedience, and love. Clint Eastwood's character is a beautiful representation of a loving dominant.
