I've switched back to a pro-panty stance.

They keep the labia warmer than usual, they rub against it, they show wetness at a glance.
They can have helpful reminders written on them.
It stops ginger root or ben-wa balls from falling out and hitting the floor
They can be symbolically removed either by ripping, by teeth or by a sharp knife.
Or left on to symbolise that what's going to happen, won't be happening there.
Or they can be left at home, stuck to the noticeboard or left in the freezer to sooth, soon to be bruised cheeks

Despite or perhaps because of, Paris and Britney's anti panty advocacy, panties are symbolic yet useful tool in the Doms arsenal of way to head fuck

Status: offline 		My expectation is that my submissives will dress in such a way that it is clear an effort has made, and that they are honouring me by being well turned out. Their "uniform" is their demeanour - whether stark naked or clad from head to foot in full zentai.

Status: offline 		When an event has a theme I dress according to the theme... or as close as I can get to it... if not... I just pick something that I feel like wearing.... I never go out the door without panties on ... I once asked my Daddy if he wanted me to dress any particular way... he responded with.... "kittin you always dress yourself perfectly"... I guess uniform wise... I could say at Daddy's house... bra, and top on... but no bottoms.

Status: offline 		I'm allowed to dress pretty much as I wish during the day. When Hubby comes home and gives me that certain look, I know it's time to change into something nasty. I don't have a sub "uniform" and I rarely wear a collar, but I do wear heavy metal anklets  24/7. Whenever I go out, I wear jeans or a pant-suit. We have attended a few public events, Halloween parties and the EE ball in S.F. Those were fun.

I  have a blanket instruction to 'look pretty at all times'.  Thankfully, I can choose what I wear, because if Sir dressed me the fashion police would visit daily (it is not his strong suit).

Occasionally he will give me an instruction, but it will only be one piece of clothing, and I can pair it with anythng I want to make myself look good in accordance to the blanket rule.

Status: offline 		I take pride in the way I dress myself, and I know how to dress to make the most of how I look. Sure I take direction and would dress to order  - and enjoy doing so but i would not want to lose the abiltiy to dress myself.

Just to throw this in also ... my body is for myself and for my partner... it really isn't for anyone else. I dislike dressing or undressing to reveal too much of my body for other people .. an important factor in a relationship for me would be that I am not required to dress revealingly in public.

Clothes may maketh the man .. but dress does not maketh the slave

and before i get flamed for saying that with a skin pic on my profile - being dressed like a slut in public is very different from flashing a naked shoulder in private.

Status: offline 		When I had a slave I told her that whenever she left the house she would be dressed respectively.  A combination of good hygene, hair combed, nice pants or skirt all clean.  That may not seem like much but I've seen  people in shopping malls to video stores looking like they were dressed by a blind hobo.  I can't stand it looking like that.  It was an order and a promise as well as I would never leave the house in aything less either.

When she got home she was usually pantsless with panties and no bra.  In this state I'd usually refer to her as having "free roaming breasts" as a little tease.  She'd always keep the panties for the afformented reasons though, her period being primary.  I'd never told her to wear her collar but I wish I had more often.

I second that. When was this memo supposed to be delivered.

My Dom usually has me wear a skirt, no panties, and a top that could be seen as slutty and classy. I mean have you seen what people wear to work these days? I wore one day Knee high boots, black pantyhose a jean skirt that was a little above my knees and a low cut black lacey top with a low cut white long sleeve shirt over it.... I felt like like a call girl. But it was perfectly acceptable at my RETAIL job.

I usually get to pick what I wear when we go out. He may tell me he wants me to look a little slutty which usually means a little make up than I normally wear, and I should make sure I wear a low cut top.

He is trying to get me to be comfortable being naked at his house. Which is the required uniform there. When cleaning, and eating I am sometimes allowed to wear a tshirt. I may be allowed to wear a tshirt at night.

As for underclothing, I do not go braless unless I'm just not wearing clothing at all.  Too much to be swinging free.  On my own, I would never go pantiless either but Master sometimes instructs me to.  (I don't do this when on or near my period and I always wear skirts that are at least knee length or longer so no "gross outs" there....lol).  More often than being instructed to go without panties, I am usually told to wear my leather chastity belt.  Master loves snugging it on tightly, locking it, and wearing the key around His neck, especially when I'm going to be in public or in a situation where if people around me knew what I was wearing, they'd be scandalized....lol....

As far as cuffs and collar....at home, I wear my collar alot but not 24/7 and the wrist cuffs are only used when He needs to hook chains or rope through them for binding.  The ankle cuffs are worn every night as I always sleep sans clothing with my right ankle chained to the bottom of the bed frame.  As far as special outfits for playtime, if I'm not nude there is a special "schoolgirl" outfit I bought that He loves.  Plain white top that ties right above my navel, red/black plaid short pleated skirt, white knee stockings with a bow or frilly white anklet socks, and a gorgeous pair of black Victorian style shoes with a satin ribbon that serves as laces...........luci

to answer the question and hopefully lessen the sting of LA's envy, this slave will reveal that there have been a few times when this slave has had to put on "work clothes and gloves" for gardening, etc. as well as covering up to go along with the overtly sexist idea of criminal public display of naked female nipples(although this slave does wear very thin materials over them and no bra)...and other pink bits... for outings to appointments or various stores to obtain supplies for Master and His home. 
 
sometimes, when it's a little cold, or there are other non-slaves working at Master's home, Master instructs His slave to pull on a robe or wrap up in a cozy blanky.
 
Other than that, it's cuffs, collar, and the occasional costume.
