China promises action on slave labor claims By Chris BuckleySat Jun 16, 4:53 AM ET China has promised a sweeping crackdown on a slave labor scandal in a poor part of the country where poverty and unbridled growth have made work abuses commonplace. Following calls for action by top leaders, the Ministry of labor and Social Security pledged to send a team to central China, where state media have said up to 1,000 minors may have been forced to work in slave-like conditions in brick kilns. They will probably beat them with lead paint and tainted dog food------ Tiannemen square----them were the good old days. When strongmen were strongmen and the others were dead.

I BELIEVE IT. I'm sure the Chinese government will absolutely crack down on officials and businesses for allowing this to come to light, and to the general knowledge of the US. I'm very sure the US will send an envoy to search out how this made it into mainstream media. Absolutely, there will be a crack down.
