LaM,

I know - but got have a little sense of humor when it comes to Rob!

I understand where you are making the difference between the Spurs of 99 and the Spurs who won in 03, 05 and 07.  While I do believe that Tim was already the leader of the team, the cohesive unit we see today was not there.  However, I believe that history will bear me out and show that not only will the Spurs maintain their core three players, but will continue to improve because the environment created makes good players want to play in SA.  Because of this, I think it is far more likely that the Spurs will add another ring before the Lakers do.

well wishes ~ fairer

No argument there, and if they win, say, two more over the next three years, I think we'll all agree that they're SOME kind of dynasty.

Boy!!   The NBA would be so thrilled to see this thread!!   Do ya think the Commissioner is a member of CM?  :-)  I mean, they just had a terribly uncompetitive Finals which only a select few watched but now all of you guys are talking about the Spurs.

As for my 2 cents.  What the Spurs lack in personality, they have loads of in fundamental basketball skill.  That's the simplest reason they win.   They are proof that while high flying dunks sell tickets and improve ratings, it's the team with the most skill that wins games.

I, too, like Robert Horry but I think his check of Steve Nash, a 2 time MVP, was totally unnecessary.

LaM,

I think at that point it would be undeniable.  Here's hoping!

well wishes ~ fairer
