I had no idea.  But it doesn't appear to be life-threatening.

at times i use plain baking soda. works fine.

in a way this is 'coincidental" as the WTO wants to "standardize"- vitamens, mineral, herbs. thus almost every vitemen will become dr perscribed. so a $12 bottle will cost $150.  im not making this up. it is in CAFTA.

any amount that exceeds recommended daily allowance will be a drug. so 50 mg of vit c will be OTC, 500 mg will be rx!!!

years ago there was a heated debate in the US that concluded dont touch are suplemtments. John McCain was for teh consumer.  however- being that global standards are to be "alligned" our soveriignity is deferred to the WTO.

fricken sucks!

If the only problem with this fake toothpaste is that it lacks flouride, it has no health risk at all, and from what I see that is what the "contamination" is.. lack of flouride

Thursday that counterfeit toothpaste not containing fluoride and falsely packaged as "Colgate" was found in several dollar-type discount stores in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

There was no other substance mentioned... I intentionally buy flouride free paste

Julia, i missed that. being that most water is flouridated. we get too much of it. it is rat poisening.  there have been studies on flouride. as i said we get TOO MUCH of it.

I missed the title... the chemical was listed there

diethylene glycol
.

As you said, I think flouride is poison.. but they are going to push this stuff as worse...lmao.

in the 70s the govt enforced, "fitness of merchantability"- it goes something like this. a sciccors is suppose to cut paper- but not cut cement. if it doesnt cut paper- then it is not fit and cant be sold as titled.  my complaint is toilet brushes. ild like to see the manufaaucturer SHOW ME THAT THEY WORK!!!  bull.  in the past- a brush must reasonably clean a toilet- now-there are no standards of fitness.

Dont forget Walmart pretty much dictates specs to China- then other stores are froced with the same crap.

BTW i did a search i seen toilet brushes in the $120 range- still fricken made in China.

like i said- in the 70s=- merchandise must be fit for its intended purpose. but not today.

while a toilet brush wont amount to alot- what about heart valve replacements, nuclear reactor parts ??

ouch.

Thank goodness I ONLY use Crest. I'm gonna get rid of any of the other stuff around here. Guess this is just one more thing to look for on the back of products if it says 'made in china' and it goes in your body, do NOT use it?!
