mistoferin -> Kinkster Cookbook (6/14/2007 7:08:03 AM)

I've been compiling recipies from kinky folk to include in a cookbook. I've been doing this for awhile now and until last night I didn't think about putting the word out here. If you would like to submit a recipe or idea to have included, please contact me on the other side of collarme.

The categories include: Beverages Appetizers & Finger Foods, Homemade Mixes, Breads, Soups, Fruits & Veggies, Side Dishes, Entrées, Grilling, Sweets, Munch & Party Dishes, Tea Service, Ritual and Ceremony Foods, Master’s Favorite, Aphrodisiacs & Kinky Foods, After Play Munchies,

There will also be special sections for Household Hints, Sub Drop Foods & Remedies and also one for Special Touches  ~ recipes for lotions, soaps, scents, massage oils….and any of those special little “extras” we do to please our partners.

What a great idea!
Let me go through my head and see what I can come up with for you :)

Erin - I appreciate you doing this and I am looking forward to the finished product.

mist, are the recipes supposed to be kinky or is it just that they are from kinky folk ?

either way I might have a few ideas -:) MWAHAHAHA

Either or. I got the idea awhile back. I've had some of the most yummy foods at kink events and I thought it would be really neat if we had compilation of our favorites. A lot of subs and slaves are great cooks (and even some D types too!). As to the special sections I thought it would be nice to share things like what makes us feel better during sub drop...or what was served at our Collaring...favorite dish to take to an event...that sort of thing.

Hello mistoferin,

I started a thread a year or two ago about recipes.

Feel free to use any of mine!

Great, thanks!!!

domiguy -> RE: Kinkster Cookbook (6/14/2007 8:34:07 AM)

I'm going out on a limb here...I take it I should only submit those recipes that don't include scat?   I enjoy cooking.  I don't like making prepared shit...And cooking does not ever include Campbell's soup.  I will throw in a recipe for "Domidong's Garlic shrimp pasta."....I need to cook it and write down the steps.

mistoferin -> RE: Kinkster Cookbook (6/14/2007 9:12:24 AM)

Yes, please...no scat in the food!

SDFemDom4cuck -> RE: Kinkster Cookbook (6/14/2007 3:12:42 PM)

Awesome idea, we did this as a community fundraiser years ago to raise money for a fellow Domme that was sick and in need of financial help. We sold the books we had published through a small local publishing company. The night of the event we also did an auction for various sub's services. It went beautifully and it raised an unbelievable amount for someone who needed it a great deal.

One suggestion I would make is perhaps including an etiquette section that would include table setting for various sized parties, service techniques, as well as the basics of good manners and proper etiquette. I saw that you mentioned a chapter on Tea Service and wasn't sure if this would fit into that idea or if you simply meant a chapter that covered the various foods to be served.

I will definitely get you some recipes as soon as I can. I have 2 weeks left of my coursework. Then a blessed and much needed week before my internship begins. If nothing else I'll get them to you during my break. What do I need to do to reserve a copy?

mistoferin -> RE: Kinkster Cookbook (6/14/2007 3:13:09 PM)

I forgot to mention that once I get the book together, I will send anyone whose recipes are included a copy of the book if they wish.

DiurnalVampire -> RE: Kinkster Cookbook (6/14/2007 3:16:48 PM)

I have a few favorite dishes, I'll see if i can actually get them written.

mistoferin -> RE: Kinkster Cookbook (6/14/2007 3:18:34 PM)

Thank you....that is a really great suggestion. I also like the idea of using the proceeds to help someone. Everyone who contributes a recipe that is chosen will get a copy of the book.

Sinergy,

You must be psychic. I was just thinking about that chili recipe the other night while contemplating what to do with the left over 8 lbs of carnitas sitting in my freezer. Now I distinctly remember why I only make carnitas for my Super Bowl Blow out and New Years parties. I think that chili recipe will take care of a couple lbs of it! Thanks for that link!

Vendaval -> RE: Kinkster Cookbook (6/14/2007 4:19:00 PM)

Great idea, erin!  I have a few to include but will have to dig through my cookbooks.

Ms Jo, are you serious?  You made 8 lbs of carnitas?
That calls for a party, just have your friends bring the salsa and drinks.

slaverosebeauty -> RE: Kinkster Cookbook (6/14/2007 4:19:32 PM)

How simple or complex do you want the recipies?? I have a few I don't mind sharing, they are 'healthy' if that is not a problem.

If you decide to use any of mine, drop me an email on the other side and I will tell you where to send the book.

Ven...8 lbs are what is leftover....I think the pork shoulder I started with was in the 12 - 15lbs range. I had to buy a new ginormous slow cooker thanks to Sinergy's suggestion as opposed to my previous method of roasting for 12+ hours at low heat until it falls off the bone. Normally I would be lucky to have any leftovers after the guests left.

mistoferin: I also thought that maybe a low carb/WW or healthy foods section would be nifty. (I promise I'll stop with the ideas for sections now.) I have an unbelievable low carb meatloaf recipe that friends have never ever realized was good for them. Do you have an end date for when you would like the recipes sent to you?

Well Carp! @(&%)#&*%!!!!
I'm supposed to be writing a paper on radioactive isotopes and instead I'm sitting here flipping through my recipe books. Arrrghh.

Here's another thread:

Holiday Recipes

mistoferin -> RE: Kinkster Cookbook (6/14/2007 9:47:10 PM)

Thanks all. Yes I would like some healthier or specialty recipes...low fat, low carb, diabetic. Not sure if they will get their own section or maybe just an attention grabbing header. All recipes are welcome regardless of how simple or complex.

Thanks HP...I am going through those old recipe threads and if I see something I might want to consider I will contact the poster for permission to use it.
