Like schmike. I don't have such an opinion of you now, negative or positive, and if I did it doesn't mean shit. This worrying if other people like you is stupid shit, kid shit. You are a member in good standing of collarchat.com, therefore you have the right to start a post, in the proper forum, on any topic you wish to discuss. Of course when in doubt put it in Off Topic.
Just FYI when you posted it I was writing another response, then I had to go to the bathroom and for some reason the PC was rebooting when I got back. Makes no sense but I will not dwell on that. The fact is I never saw your original post.
I don't really know if I would have replied, but now it's oh well.
There are many pretty strict rules here. I didn't like that at the beginning but I see now that it really does keep the flaming down. You have apparently not broken them bad enough to get thrown out. Otherwise this thread would not exist.
You need to ask yourself two things.
1. Why do I care if people like me, do I not like myself ? Am I not proud of my accomplishments in life, do I not take care of my obligations and resposibilities ? Do I treat people right?
2. Totally indepenent of #1, why would people not like me. Even if I am an asshole, how am I letting them know it ? And if so, why do I do that ?
I can see that at times I have let out too much of my opinion at one time. There is a degree of control required here, but never stifle yourself.
The best advice in your life could come in a snide remark from one of your "enemies" here. But now you have removed even that remote, and not really optimum possibility. It won't happen now.
Out of all the members of CM, who number in five figures, a few of them certainly don't hate your guts and want to put you through a meat grinder. I mean come on, like somebody in a different country or something. (LOL)
I dunno what else to say, but I need to send this in case my PC fucks up again. And I need to go to bed.
