The only advice i have is to think long and hard about if it is worth it. We really don't know what causes alot of birth defects and it is possible for the egg to be effected before fertilization. Is it likely? Probably not, but if you ever have a child born with a birth defect you will think about everything you could have done that seemed ok. I gave up chocolate and nutrasweet for 9 months, only to have my daughter medivac'd out a few hours after birth (and because of my complications i could not travel with her for several days). Those were some of the hardest days of my life. I personally would play it safe. I'm sure your Master would want you to take care of yourself and any potential progeny

I'd tend to agree with earthycouple, you should talk to a doctor.

The agent in question, dutasteride, is (as others have pointed out) present in urine, although at 1% of the original concentration. It is, however, a 5-α-reductase inhibitor, and I did not see any information as to whether the enzyme is inhibited irreversibly or not, so its effect could very well be accumulative.

If you absolutely insist on not seeing a doctor, ask a pharmacist. Barring that ... let's see, the wind blows in an eastward direction ... should be okay to do it once, and don't get pregnant for a looong time unless you'd really like a physically intersexed child who is mentally cisgendered and will have a modified gender transition during puberty (sounds like a job for a whole hospital).

Did I mention that whole doctor thing? And me not being one? ;-)

Note also that the problem isn't limited to swallowing, either. This drug is absorbed through the skin, and that pretty much guarantees that it will be absorbed quickly through the mucous membranes, including those in the mouth.

There's almost certainly a safe way to do this, but you need to talk to the doctor or a pharmacist to find out what that way is. For that matter, you can call a poison/drug hotline anonymously and say "hey, don't ask, but I've been drinking my hubby's pee for like a year now, and I just recently heard that a drug he's taking, called Avodart, may be absorbed that way; is that the case and, if so, how will this affect me?" ... they've heard it before.

I'd offer to ask my own doc, but he doesn't have your medical files, and is in a different country altogether, so it really wouldn't do any good beyond what I've already said.

Having seen the work involved in taking someone from where you describe to the point where they can do this, and having done it myself so as to know what I'm asking them to, I can only hope your Master will appreciate the gravity of this gesture.

A fairly large number of drugs are absorbed transmucosally, which means they are also absorbed by being in your mouth, even if not swallowed. Some are even absorbed transdermally, and this one is, meaning even non-oral WS would be out of the question without checking it out.

I thought I said befor but in case I didnt Ill say it now, I plan on talking to Master and then we are going to talk to a Doctor about it. we arent into gambling with my health.

If the doc gives the all-clear, I'm sure the forum will be buzzing with advice about how to do it.

Find another way to please your Master. It's not worth tampering with your body and all of the unanswered questions. He respected your wish from the beginning he will respect it now.

I have a human toilet and I don't take any meds daily. However, when I'm on meds for colds, etc... we don't play. Im here to learn and enjoy not risk anyones health for my own pleasure.

This isnt about Master not respecting me this is about me wanting to let go of my last limit with him. if it cant be done it cant be done but I didnt want to feel like I totaly coped out and used his medication as an excuse if there was a way around it (I really feel it seems all to convenient for me). I still dont think it would hurt to do it one time but we are going to talk to the Doc and see whats what. Neather of us want to put my life or the life of my future unmentionables in danger.
