So what type of music does everyone like? Myself, I like oldies, rock 'n roll, emo music, and heavy metal.

Southern Rock, Classic Rock of the 60s and 70s, but I favor Metal and not Hair Metal. I have been listening to a lot of Hair Metal lately though, because it is making a come back, with Alice Cooper and Dee Snyders radio shows getting more radio stations on their list.

Now see what yall made me do, I turned my sound on.

That's OK, I have to turn my brain back on tomorrow anyway.

My taste is exceedingly diverse. So I will play a few and just let you know what they are.

Al Cariota - The Magnificent Seven (original version)
White Zombie - Thunderkiss 1965
Alan Jackson - Little Man
R.B. Greaves - Take a letter Maria
Gary Puckett - Lady Willpower
Ferrante & Teicher - Theme from 'Exodus'.
CCR - Sweet Hitchiker
2 Live Crew - Banned In The USA (one of my personal favorites, I turned the bass down and cranked it)
Warrant - Uncle Tom's Cabin

I know I am insane, and I m not done yet, but I am not going to stop yet. I can report now that I leave you listening to Metal Church - Gods of Wrath. Further reports will not be available unless you call me on the phone. After all that's why we put a double cieling in downstairs. So I can jam at 3 AM.

The local public library has an FM station that features local musicians as often as possible...so I was recently treated to 2 hours of non-stop Black Oak Arkansas
(One of the few BTYP bands I genuinely enjoy).

Put me down for anything sarcastic (Newman, Prine, Zappa, et al),  head and shoulders above the pack (from Roy Buchanan to Dan Crary, to Ithzak Perlman to Chris Theile) or stand alone (Earl Hooker, Michael Hedges, Sonny Rollins and a buch of others).

And I'm a sucker for 'well crafted pop', so add Pink and Cheap Trick to the mix.

I don't really listen to a lot of popular music.  I like world music, bluegrass, folk, classical, older country music, jazz, rock.  I am picky, and it's hard for me to just pick a band or genre.  I either like something I hear or I don't.  I don't generally don't like pop, new country, techno, rap,  or hip-hop, but there are a few songs or compositions from these genres that I like.

Right now it is Black Sabbath - A Bit Of Finger, Sleeping Village and Warning. The way it came on the original album in 1970.

Next will be Frank Zappa - Titties and beer. After that I have no idea, and it's getting close to bedtime.

This Sabbath was a find on P2P, it even sounds like the original, too much treble.

Then perhaps some Dvorak or something to close out the day. Told you I was insane.
