This is for all you ink addicts out there, like Me. Let's say that money is no option, and you could have your pick of the best tattoo artists in the world.

What would your perfect piece of art be, if it could be anything you wanted and your body was an open canvas?

I think I'd have My fairy finished (planning on doing that anyway).. she sits on My right shoulderblade and is unfinished at this point.. but when I'm done, she'll be blowing lucky charms like kisses in a rainbow swirl down my right arm.

I'd also have koi fish in a stream wrapping around my body.. starting at my neck, wrapping down my left arm and under my left breast, across my stomach, and down in a swirl around my right leg.

And I'd have My entire left arm covered in stargazer lillies with my grandmother's name somewhere in the mix -- they were her favorite flower, are my mom's favorite flower and these two women, one alive and one passed on, have been the biggest influences in My life. I love them both so much, and I never got to say goodbye to My grandmother. It would mean a lot to me to have such a large physical tribute to her inked for eternity on my body.

So, what about you guys?

Two planned for now. One, a symbol to represent our new daughter after her "naming".
Second, is a picotgraph drawing etched into a rock of the Hunszarv. (Legendary Hungarian White Stag.)

I have an idea for a very stylized vision of the city of Portland OR skyline and local landmarks as a back piece.  I already have an evil tree and a flying witch sillhouetted against a full moon on my upper left arm.  At some point, I'd like to add small tats of the famous cartoon characters who appeared wearing Halloween costumes (think the Charlie Brown Halloween special, or Bugs Bunny out trick-or-treating), spiraling all the way down to my wrist.

I have a tat on each arm of pegasus that need touchups. Wanna put in like a night sky background above them (they names I need covered) to blend in so as to make it looks as one. There is also a tat of a bullskull with rather large horns the would extend the width of my shoulders that has beads and feathers hanging from the horns. That will be a while though as it's gonna cost a few hundred to do as it's not a small tat. It goes from shoulder to shoulder down to the small of my back.

I prefer not to reveal my Perfect Tattoo, but if I could have any artist in the US, it would be Paul Booth.  If you're into evil fuckin black and grey ink, he's the guy.  Though, after thinking for a moment, I realized that he wouldn't do my work, because all my pieces are meant to be in color, not black and grey.  Oh well....One can dream.

I already have my half sleeve on one arm, and a standalone piece on the other, so I'd probably finish up my backpiece, as soon as I figure out what it's going to be....lol....Then, get started on the Perfect Piece, which will be in a yet-to-be-determined location.  Decisions, decisions.

For the Love of Ink,

I'm lucky enough to live near more than one excellent artist, and I've already had an Asian dragon done around the BDSM logo inside my right forarm..
I will at some point get a matching tattoo on the other arm... another Asian dragon embracing a bagua symbol.
