Patrick J. Buchanan

For Conservatives, Time To Break With Disastrous Bush Presidency
quote:

For President Bush has attacked his own loyalists for a lack of patriotism. "If you don't want to do what's right for America," he said of opponents of the Bush-Kennedy immigration bill, "if you want to scare the American people, what you say is the bill's an amnesty bill. That's empty political rhetoric, trying to frighten our citizens."

But if the 12 million to 20 million illegal aliens are instantly legalized, what other term is there to describe that than amnesty?

I would have suggested dumping that cretin 6 years ago.

But the nitwit (sorry, neocon) patrol thought it was important to see if a complete retard elected president with a corrupt and ineffective Congress would be a bad thing for the United States.

I think we have completed the experiment, and determined what not to ever do again.

Isn't his sister a Bush loyalist?

I'm just wondering who died and anointed Pat Buchanan the head of the conservative movement?

Funny, I was reading an article last night about Republican fund raisers being hung up on by Republicans and Conservatives as they make calls because of Bush and his Amnesty Bill! lol!
And they said that the Republican money is now short of the Democrats money all because of this Amnesty crap!
Bush is a fucking idiot!
All he's doing with this amnesty stuff is Pissing Off his base and also Conservatives! And boy are they angry!
The Republicans had better shut this Bill down or there's going to be another slaughter at the polls!
The best thing the Congress can do is to *keep* Bush a Lame Duck! Don't give him *anything* he wants!
As for Pat Buchanan, like him or not everything he warned us about is comming true!
And now this!

The 23rd Qualm

Bush is my shepherd; I dwell in want.

He maketh logs to be cut down in national forests.

He leadeth trucks into the still wilderness.

He restoreth my fears.

He leadeth me in the paths of international disgrace for his ego's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of pollution and war, I will find no
exit, for thou art in office.

Thy tax cuts for the rich and thy media control, they discomfort me.

Thou preparest an agenda of deception in the presence of thy religion.

Thou anointest my head with foreign oil.

My health insurance runneth out.

Surely megalomania and false patriotism shall follow me all the days of thy
term,

And my jobless child shall dwell in my basement forever.

Why do you think they all keep bringing up the ghost of Regan past?

Trouble is, it was the Republican party that recommended Bush to the public as their official candidate for the presidency.
Twice.
Voters thought, well, the guy can't be a complete idiot, or else he wouldn't have the Republican nomination. The party wouldn't go out and campaign for someone who was wholly incapable of doing the job, would they?

They've got themselves into a difficult position, if they round on Bush while he's still President they look disloyal, but if they wait until after the election, it'll be too late. And Bush doesn't look like the sort of guy who's likely to step down of his own accord (unless the GOP have some really good blackmail material on him).

You know any REAL CONSERVATIVES ( as opposed to Bush Supporting Neocon Party Whores, who AIN'T REAL CONSERVATIVES ) , more worthy?

If the Neocon Party Whores never got control of the Party in the first place, the US wouldn't be trying to figure out how to get Turkey on our side. We're going to end up bribing them, and they're going to annex Kurdistan anyway.

He is truely the mother of all ass clowns!

There is a comedian on the Craig Ferguson Late Show that  does a great imitation of Bush-really emulates his true genius! Rush Limbaugh still loves Bush no matter what, so at least Bush can console himself in that. I swear if Bush set Rush on fire, Rush would go on and on about how great it was and how smart Bush was for doing it.

Well, you see, we have this great election process where you get a choice between two total assholes. You just decide which one is going to shit on you.

If Hitler and Stalin both came back from the dead and had the party nomination for the Democrat and Republican positions, then one of them would be elected. I don't think anyone gets excited about the total dicks we get as a "Choice".
