Haphazardly clicking and reading profiles this morning over coffee, "getoveryourself" gave me a good chuckle. So, June 3 - is any uppercase-type willing to admit that they've joined the yahoo ratings game? I'm still laughing at it. Of course I am waiting for the "dominant rating" list to get posted somewhere. It occurs to me: this is a fine sifter of wheat from chaff. I'll withhold my opinion on the whole thing though. Rating? A good idea or sifter of wheat from chaff? Discuss it amongst yourselves....

I believe it is pretty much impossible to accurately "Rate" anyone that you have not had personal experience with over a long period of time, or at the very least had done extensive research on from multiple authoritative resources. Anything else is simply uninformed opinion. These online ratings tend to either be popularity contests or dissing fests.

I have a rating system for vanilla potential parnters and for lifestyle potential partners. Do I use it any more? Not so much, I do have them though. 20 areas, 10points possible in each, plus, other preferances that can add or take points away. It was a joke at first, but, it started to make sence; I needed a way to figure out compatability, and I did it. Now, screw the rating system, its not done of the right reasons or in the right manner. Why rate, when you can experience.

Ohhhhhhhhh Goddess help me if the Dom's start rating me. My ego will go from sky high to bottom out - depending on the Dom you have doing the rating.

So a yahoo group to rate profiles on collarme.. Hmm .... not sure why we would need that since i am the only true submissive here, so just give me my top-gun, 5 star, A+, Outstanding rating and move on. as you can tell i don't suffer from low selfesteem. grin , OK maybe suffer from a bad sense of humor,, well at least the people around me suffer from it anyways.. ~ann Oh by the way Simply Michael, you are much more then an 11... that Ace is an 11 by itself.. you gotta be at least a "21"

Well, Im not really interested in scoring high from most Doms.. Just really really high from one Dom. [;)] The fear i have is it would encourage people to try and conform more and be themselves less. Isn't that the point of a generalized rating scale? Isn't that the bane of this lifestyle? Conformity. jmho, oct

the only one whose "scoring" would count with me....already says i'm his precious treasure. i dont see it, but he does, and as he is the Sir....he must be right. smiles shyly kitten, who still blushes when she hears that

Okay, since doms are rating subs, do subs get a chance to rate doms? How about the switches? Just a thought.

hmmmmmmm..................... i checked this 'getoveryourself' profile and oddly enough there were two. one a Dom and one a sub. one from NY and one from Connecticut. one 45 One 48. same height and weight joined on the same day. Neither profile was funny at all. i also tried to find a yahoo group called CM_subratings and there is no such group. hmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!
