My girlfriend, before me, has had relations with much bigger partners. Our sex life is good, but deep down she would like a bigger penis, so i bought a dildo i could use on her that i am surprising her with, its here: http://www.spicygear.com/8-inch-mulatto-realistic-vibrating-dildo/ .... do you ladies think i made a wise choice?

MsKatHouston -> RE: Just bought my girlfriend something bigger (6/2/2007 12:02:46 PM)

Every woman is different.  I would think you'd be in a better position to know if she'd like it.  Have fun

smallsoldiers -> RE: Just bought my girlfriend something bigger (6/2/2007 1:47:30 PM)

Well she is interested in using a dildo to get her satisfaction, and she told me her ideal size is 7-8" and 6" around... That is why I choose this particular one.  What are your experiences Misstriss' on using a dildo compared to the real thing?

MHOO314 -> RE: Just bought my girlfriend something bigger (6/2/2007 1:51:43 PM)

Why would you share something so personal with a group of strangers?  Perhaps starting out asking about our experiences as you did later may be better, however how embarassing for her.

And why would you expect strangers to share this information with you ?

smallsoldiers -> RE: Just bought my girlfriend something bigger (6/2/2007 2:05:59 PM)

hmmm.... well.... you have the slightest clue of who I am, and where I live..  why would anyone be embarrassed?.... My girlfriend could be anyone?...

MsKatHouston -> RE: Just bought my girlfriend something bigger (6/2/2007 2:09:12 PM)

I prefer the real thing, frankly.  Thankfully, my slave is well above average in that department so don't have to worry about it.

Politesub53 -> RE: Just bought my girlfriend something bigger (6/2/2007 2:09:51 PM)

my question was asking why you expect Mistress`s to share such intimate information with you ? i agree you have the right to post whatever you wish about you and yourgirlfiend, providing she is happy with the idea.

Dont start me off on averages Maam [:D]

MsKatHouston -> RE: Just bought my girlfriend something bigger (6/2/2007 2:13:29 PM)

Fine.  In my experience I have had x amount of men.  Of those, the average size is x.  This one is well above average.  Will that do?

HeavansKeeper -> RE: Just bought my girlfriend something bigger (6/2/2007 2:24:33 PM)

I would figure patrons of a BDSM meeting and discussion site would be more open minded than some of the previous posts.  Yes, its personal information, but we can be adult here.  Every woman I know owns at least one sex toy, my mother included.  (Don't ask, I'd rather not talk about it.)

I'm going to give you what I've learned about dildoes, men, women, and relationships.  Sex toys can replace a man in a physical sense.  The picture you gave leads me to believe its a bigger vibrating penis... You'll never be able to match it in specs.  You can do things it cannot.  Dirty talk, pulling hair, spanking her, blah blah blah... Men and women enjoy physical pleasure, but women have a more attuned mind for psychological pleasure.  You cannot be replaced by such a simple machine.

Everything counts in terms of giving pleasure, especially with women.  In addition to size/width (to a degree, there IS a too big), other things count. +5 for a good scent, +3 for a body she can fall onto to grab hold of during climax, +1 for flowers that day, +7 for properly executed foreplay.  (100% arbitrary scale)

I think it's a very wise for you to put aside your insecurities and seek to please her.  It takes a very big man to buy a rubber cock bigger than his own.  She'll recognize that.  The only thing I can suggest is to not allow a vibrating bigger toy to become the standard... As soon as she "needs" it to get off, you should ween her down, ya' dig?  You don't want to be out of the job...  If it gets to that point a few days of not getting off and she'll be back to normal.  I know a handful of women who get addicted to stimulation and needs three jackhammers to even be aroused.  Such an overdose of pleasure doesn't give mortals a chance.

As you posted here in the Mistress's forum, let me assume for a moment she is your Mistress. My previous information has been very vanilla, and more of a vanilla/switch/BDSM=kink response.

As a submissive, you did the right thing in putting her pleasure first.  Buying her a toy that she would want is a lovely tribute.  Few understand better than I the delicate balance of a vanilla / BDSM swirl relationship.  It can get very blurry, and make things harder.  She could be torn between being a "good" girlfriend, and not asking for her mate to get a toy bigger than what he has, and being a Mistress... Surely she doesn't want to push you away, so there is a delicate balance.

In terms of the dildo you bought, I can't say much... But I will tell you what I know.  MOST women I know prefer a soft but firm rubber material that feels like skin, but keeps a rigid shape.  Life-like can be a plus, but grooves, ribs, ridges, veins and the like are always welcome.  Size is based on preference, but you have that set.  Vibrating is almost always a plus.  I can't comment on the make and model because I've never tried it.

On thing to look into is an extender... It is the best of both worlds for her (man and machine) and can be fun for you... Imagine a really big condom that gives you a little extra length and width...

HeavansKeeper. Firstly nice post, very informative and no doubt something the Op can use.

With regards to being open minded, i would think one needs to be that to place their photo on a BDSM site. My original point was, and still is, that many of the Ladies on here would not be happy sharing such info with a stranger, i may be wrong but its just my opinion.

Thanks alot HeavensKeeper!

No no...I've never thought you rude.  But I wanted to clarify before getting into another "what is the average cock size" thread.  ;)

hereyesruponyou -> RE: Just bought my girlfriend something bigger (6/2/2007 5:18:22 PM)

Admit i didn't look at your link, BUT i do have an opinion on dildos and size. My partner is the absolute perfect size for me for intercourse and fellatio and i think his cock is the most beautiful i have ever seen.  I really don't need anything else. He likes to use a larger dildo on me with the erocillator and being a little bit of a masochist the pain it induces from stretching and bumping my cervix really hard along with the attention to my clit is a huge turn on. It's also so nice to just lay there and enjoy. And for him he gets the bonus of really being able to watch me cum with no distractions to him.

I honestly don't see why anyone has a problem with you asking this question. It's not like anyone is being forced to answer....

smallsoldiers -> RE: Just bought my girlfriend something bigger (6/2/2007 6:34:23 PM)

thank you, but how big do you go?

PairOfDimes -> RE: Just bought my girlfriend something bigger (6/2/2007 6:42:19 PM)

I like the Vixen line by Tantus, and penetrated partners commended it, so good reviews from both sides! The dildos are injection molded silicone, so they feel as smooth and realistic as cyberskin but are able to be cleaned like silicone. If you're looking for an anatomically correct dildo, I would highly recommend this line. I think mine is 7" with a 1.5" diameter.

I've got another non-anatomical, beautiful, ridged one, also silicone, also from Tantus, close to the 7" of the above, but a bit fatter, so probably a 2" diameter. It's lovely, and broad, and generally much favored for vaginal penetration. The Silk from Tantus, still widely available, also non-anatomical, is perfectly smooth, gently curved, and comes in a number of sizes--the largest might be around what you want, but that size isn't in my collection, so I don't know exactly how it measures up. A bonus: it comes in a lovely lilac shade.

The dildo you linked to seems okay. I assume you asked about her preferences for curvature, vibration, anatomical or non, etc.--it's really remarkable how many ways there are to vary penetration! If you go on similar shopping excursions, I would recommend checking out a store (online or otherwise) like Good Vibrations or Babeland. I find that their customer service is often better than most "adult retailers," and that's especially valuable when you are looking to buy a dildo to be used to penetrate someone else.

Finally, a dyke soapbox point. A dildo *is* a real thing. You might find words and phrases like "bio-cock" or "flesh penis" to be more useful and more polite.

LadyDominaX -> RE: Just bought my girlfriend something bigger (6/2/2007 7:32:34 PM)

Having looked at the link, I was laughing at the line " luxuriously strong multi-speed vibrations centered right at the tip where you want it most."
Obviously they don't know many women, since most of the ladies I know would prefer the vibrations near the base close to their clit or in the shaft near the g-spot, rather than at the tip.  I've never been once for enjoying having my cervix bumped, let alone vibrated. If that's her preferred size, good for her.
I'm a finicky type. I prefer either a toy like http://www.spicygear.com/ultimate-bendables-love-buddy/ this one with the beaded shaft, or a decently endowed male with something of http://www.spicygear.com/diving-dolphin/ this sort on.
