FR. Geee....Oedipus posts a legitimate inquiry, and the loudest (if not the most intelligent) reply that comes back is all about how he's not man enough to "do the right thing" -- i.e. be a jerk. He lacks "stones", he's a pussy...because he doesn't kick a poor dog when she's down? Nice to see that world view echoed as the "manly, Dominant" point of view. Hey. A little secret for those of you on that side of the fence (whispers) "It isn't always about YOU. Yes. That's right. I'm standing by it, Emperor. Have a read of the OP's profile. I find a suggestion she is talking about moving to him (and everything will work out). Doing it gently, without hard feelings didn't work. Rather than catching the "No" behind the kind lies it is so easy to tell, this one is determined. BTDT. Have a few cold bottles loosened my impatience with foolishness? Perhaps. Have I ever laid awake and felt guilt over how that last conversation went? Have I tried the gentle lies? Yes to both. And I accept the responsibility, rather than trying to pass it off to a bunch of strangers.
