Yeah..... good definitions...I am happy with those. Problem being not everyone adhere's to those standards, but, if they did, I would be happy being "labeled" a submissive/Domme.....depending on which side of the switch was flipped.

Thank you for shareing that insight Lawrence111.

have a great day,

pixie

Are people actually READING the list before they make these posts? Or are they just making a generalized stand against what they think this "malevolent" levels list might do to harm their bdsm?

Please read the list!

The list doesn't devalue anyone. It describes.
It's not for people who "follow trends". There are no directions here. No orders.
It's not written in stone. Here it's written in electrons.
The list doesn't prescribe anything. It describes based on anthropological observation. Hey anthro, please help me out here!

The list explictly says that one number is not better than another. Neither do you reach the ultimate when you get to nine. These levels aren't stages of graduation. NOT first Kindergarten, then junior high, then college. NO!

The levels are more like hair color. Blond, White, Brown, Black, Orange. That's what I meant by "spectrum" in my last post. Blond isn't better than auburn. You don't naturally turn into a blond after you've been black for awhile. And yes, most people are mixtures of many different hair colors. Think of the nine levels of submission as a color chart. A bdsm periodic table of the elements. No judgement here. Just observation. 'Kay?
