Status: offline 		I was wondering if anybody has any ideas how to muffle my screams. He uses a ball gag but I cant help but spit it out sometimes. Duct tape comes off. Tried stuffing my mouth then tape but didnt work either. Due to a minor health issue I cant take anything in mouth for to long or open wide long. We use a hotel and a few times somebody has knocked on the door asking if everything is ok. Dont want the police called.

Status: offline 		Try a sock.  You can bite on it when the pain hits, doesn't keep the mouth open wide and you can easily spit it out and put it back in as needed.

buy bondage tape...you can wrap that all the way around your head and it only sticks to itself....um..it is like window cling.  Just be sure to leave nose open for breathing.

Use a different hotel if the one you use isn't understanding.  You would be surprised what hotel staff see and hear!  If you use different hotels, simply inform the hotel manager before hand.

If it's spanking over the knee you could try a pillow. You could try to NOT scream. Sometimes you simply have to scream because it does indeed hurt. However, I noticed that when it was in private and I had room to scream I would. BUT in public settings like parties I didn't scream. I didn't feel it appropriate. It was sort of a mental switch. It worked for me. Of course it may not work for you.

Status: offline 		How about an Ace bandage?  You can start it out as a cleave (through the teeth, internally) then as you wrap it you eventually (after say, two or three revolutions) have it as an external cover.  Be careful that it doesn't seem 'too' tight, as it will do some fun wicked things to your cheeks (and possibly your ears if you're not careful).

This also has the advantage of not opening your mouth open at a particular angle like a ball gag or a ring gag.  You could also try inflatable gags, as they have the ability to be used at various dimensions.

Status: offline 		i agree with drawntothedark, just consciously try not to scream/cry out. if this is an issue important enough to your Dominant, then he could simply set severe consequences in place for crying out. this is what my Master did in the beginning of our union, to the point where it's difficult now for me to be vocal at all no matter how bad the pain. of course if he doesn't think it's that big of a deal, that method won't work.

Status: offline 		If youv'e the money get a scolds mask. Sometimes referred to a gwens hood, for reason beyond me.  Work like a gag but without having something in your mouth and without the full blown hood.

Status: offline 		Thanks everybody for the answers. I clicked on want to be notified when anybody answers but I wasnt so glad i came to check. We have been lucky nobody has knocked on the door to just those few times recentley.

Status: offline 		I used to be able to hold most of the screams in but that was before the pain level went up. I still try but cant always. Again thanks and will let him know.

My sub has an authentic scold's bridal, made of iron, and he can still muffle, grunt, and produce sounds from it, even though the tongue is fixed in place.
Edited to add: The scold's bridal has a metal plate, that fills the mouth, spiked and controls the tongue, so it does insert into the submissive's mouth, fills it.

Status: offline 		Gags are a HARD limit, especially since I almost died when one was used, and I can be VERy vocal, puttign my head/face in a pillow or the mattress works. I also leanred how to 'hold it in' my throat, of course, the next day you have a sore throat. But minimal noise.

Status: offline 		When you make the reservation ask for the end room and explain you have nightmares and don't want to wake the people in the next room up.

In additon, a white noise machine as well as a stereo or tv. The combination of other sounds plus a gag should do the trick. Sometimes instead of a ball gag he ties a knot in a scarf, puts the knot in my mouth and ties the scarf around my head twice so the outside knot is in front. I can close my mouth almost entirely with this and that helps the jaw although my mouth gets awfully dry with this. So if you use it, have water next to you in case you start coughing.

Status: offline 		Something else you might try is learning how to process your pain better. Spread your hands wide to help the pain flow through you and make sure to focus on your breathing taking slow deep breaths. It is kind of the same concept but different technique that is used with lamaze while in child birth. I have noticed that as I have gotten better at doing this...especially the breathing through the pain that I am much better able to handle the pain and do not scream as loudly or as often.

Status: offline 		Holding a pillow over your mouth works well. I also just put my hand over my boy's mouth when I'm about to do something particularly wicked.

Status: offline 		Try not to scream sounds best, but think of it a different way... what would happen if you were TOLD not to scream, and the consequences of not doing as you were told would be no CP?

Status: offline 		More good ideas. Because we go during the day and not spend the night I cant use the have nightmares excuse but otherwise that is a good idea. Will let him know the lastest suggestions. Because of the space needed and being a nice room we want to stick to this one. Thanks and I will also try the idea of holding hands spread wide and breathing deeply. He does have the tv up loud but it dont cover some screams. When he is close to me he does cover my mouth. Thanks everybody.
