PITTSBURGH -- After six people were shot in the city's Homewood neighborhood in less than 24 hours, Pittsburgh police rolled in with a 20-ton armored truck with a blast-resistant body, armored rotating roof hatch and gunports.

No guns or drugs were seized and no arrests made during the sweep in the $250,000 armored vehicle, paid for with Homeland Security money. But the show of force sent a message.

I had to fend an investigation by a former boss who manipulated a university police force to retaliate against me for standing up to him for his illegal and unethical conduct. He failed, I sued and he paid up. The investigation concluded my ex-boss was grossly mismanaging the department, and the accuser was a likely suspect.

and thats how its done in the big leagues LOL

Status: offline 		Actually, they didn't drop the ball at all.  Where have you been the last three years?  They said there was NO evidence of weapons of mass destruction, and the White House made them change their story.

It's incredible to me that, five years into one of the worst misadventures in American history, people still don't understand exactly what went wrong.

That "Validiating Employment Eligibility Electronically" thing? That's Homeland Security Speak for the National No-Work List.

You know how activists find themselves on the "No-Fly List"? It's going to work the same way.

Like when the Nazis made it unlawful to hire Jews? Well, it's not just the Jews this time. It's anyone "Politically Undesirable".

And like the No-Fly-List, I bet the list and it inclusion criteria are classified.

THANK YOU for the dose of reality.  I STILL hear morons talking about aluminium tubes and such.  Too stupid and ignorant to realize the US NRC declared them unfit for that use but the WitlessHouse edited that out and instead said it was irrefutable evidence.

Sometimes I wonder if Republicans are better at getting their BS out or if perhaps they just have to fool dumber people.

i sincerely hope we get a democrat in-in 08, so everyone can point to me and call me a democrat basher like they have called me a rep basher.

That way i can continue to remid everone they are the same party with different color ties,  that is the "puppet" party of those associated with the cfr etc etc etc etc etc etc!  :)

What do you expect from them?  Their careers were on the line.  Sure, some of them might have been bolder, but they would have been canned.  And there would have been a long line of hounds waiting to take their places.

As usual, it's up to the farsighted electorate to straighten things out.  Bleak, eh.
