Just did some searching. It looks like NJ voters approved gambling in a 1976 referendum, and the first AC casino opened in 1978.

i'm trying to make some Watermelon Sorbet - had to pick out the seeds. i don't care what they say, seedless watermelons sure do have a lot of little white seeds. YUCK! i'd rather have regular old-fashioned watermelon with seeds that are easier to remove.

Supposed to be edible, but my system with the colostomy can't even have those seeds. Besides they all float to the top when making the puree for sorbet.

The sorbet was good but a little too sweet. i used half sugar and half Splenda. Next time i will use half Splenda and a fourth of the sugar.
