oops, the tower forgot to give you clearance for take off.  Hand over the WIN.

Actually, they gave me a runway 27 departure and a runway 36 arrival.  The win, along with my CM buddy delectibleenigma and the flight instructor had a nice little flight around and over Fargo in a almost new Cessna 172 with the new Garmin G1000 avionics.

Good evening, Syl!

Good evening, Fae!

It's still snowing here.  i got out and took a walk in the snow.  It's so beautiful on the ground and as it falls.

i spent some of this afternoon putting color (#41 medium brown) on my grey roots and the rest of my hair, too.  my color tends to fade a bit between colorings so i had to cover it all.  This is the first time i tried to do it since my surgery last Novemeber.  i could barely hold my arms up long enough to finish.  i guess i'm still not 100% yet.

i really should be doing exercises every day.  The apartment complex has a fitness center, but i don't know how to work all the machines.  i have a resistance band to use in the apartment and a book of exercises to do with it.  It's just hard to get motivated.

I know what you mean, fluffy! When I broke my arm, I was terrible about doing my PT exercises. With the unfortunate result that it's still not quite right.

Every time I have injured myself I have followed the Physical Therapist's recommendations to the letter.  After getting run over by the car, I did everything he told me to do & more.  The result of that was that I wasn't crippled by that accident.  (Although my sister sometimes still swears that I limp.  What the heck does she know???)  After my shoulder surgery I had my girlfriend help me with the exercises.  She would push & I would yell & she would stop.  It took a few false starts to get her to keep going in spite of my yelling.  It's so very important to do what they tell you to do.  I have 15+ old fractures, along with a few other types of injuries & my body hardly notices.  Do your exercises, girl!!!!!
