The Dems are rightly afraid of the fucking morons in this country who don't know enough to see straight.  They don't blame Bush for invading without a plan, they don't blame bush for telling us it would be cheap, they don't blame bush for telling us it would be easy (all things people in the administration testified to).  The forget that Generals told us it would take 600,000 troops to deal with iraq, they forget that everyone who has left this administation has told us how fucking nuts bush is.

They will remember that dems cut the funding and bringing the troops home a bunch got killed.  They are dumb enough to blame that on the democrats.  They are dumb enough to reelect Bush.  America gets the politicians we deserve and because as a nation we are so utterly fucking stupid we elected a draft dodging incompetent coward who's best friends run the nation that brought about 9/11.  We elected a man who has raped and pillaged our country based on a well publicised plan (PNAC) and despite all evidence exposing this (downing street, etc.) they keep buying the bullshit.  I mean how many times has the rational for invading Iraq changed?  People STILL buy that shit, they buy that Iraq is the central front on terror, I mean how do people GET that fucking stupid?

We overthrow every democracy in the last 100 years in the ME, we object when palestinians DARE to elect people we don't like, we support every brutal dictator in the ME who dares to try and stop us getting their oil cheap and people are fucking dumb enough to believe 9/11 was the begining of anything?  Or that if places were exchanged people like me would be willing to blow ourselves up to free my fellow countrymen?  Only because so many Americans love thumping their empty yellow chests but when it comes down to real bravery are fucking cowards.

I mean people scream for impeachment over a fucking blowjob but treasonous incompetence if not outright treason and they are ready to reelect the fucking piece of shit.  Sorry, America gets exactly what she deserves.

It looks like the change to a Democratic majority in Congress ends up having no effect in funding the Iraq war. Of course the funding Bill is still flavored with plenty of 'Pork'.

Keep those blinders on and continue to vote and defend the party line. It will take you right to bankruptcy, morally and fiscally.

quote:

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Flinching in the face of a veto threat, Democratic congressional leaders neared agreement with the Bush administration Tuesday on legislation to pay for the Iraq war without setting a timeline for troop withdrawal.

Several officials said the emerging compromise bill would cost about $120 billion, including as much as $8 billion for Democratic domestic priorities - originally resisted by the White House - such as disaster relief for Hurricane Katrina victims and farmers hurt by drought.

Rep. John Boehner of Ohio, the House Republican leader, added, "Democrats have finally conceded defeat in their effort to include mandatory surrender dates in a funding bill for the troops, so forward progress has been made for the first time in this four-month process."

Republicans paid a price, too, in terms of billions of dollars in domestic spending that Democrats wrung from them and the administration.

i think their are a couple different issues here.  First is about "pork" incorporated into bills.  i don't know how it got started but it seems to be incorporated into all bills regardless of which party is supporting them.  i presume it is a way to win support from the other party who might be against the bill.  i am not sure how to stop this but unfortunately it is incorporated into most bills.

Secondly, Bush has only vetoed the bills on the war which set benchmarks and timeframes on leaving Iraq.  Why try to blame the incredible spending on Democrats as this has all been done by Republicans.
