Hey, remember. BOTH SIDES can equally game this system.

Therefore any inflation credited to one party, is clearly offset by the same inflation caused by the other.

Lets get rid of the moneky inthe white house, then we are ONLY forced to have someone else for a year or so. then We just vote in someone with an IQ over a peanut.

Shakes head the astounding number of logical errors here, yet the stated lack of critical thinking skills explains quite a bit.  Must be an example of genius

Really? Equally exploited vulnerabilities don't cancel our and render, for probability purposes, a "FAIR" result?

Just guessing but, say for example (hypothetically) that the Left was out of power, and suffering from penis envy. They would then be far more likely to act like rats in boxes which prefer pushing heroin-delivery buttons over eating food, drinking water or even having sex. We're substituting voting repeatedly in an unscientific poll for heroine, is all. If you could watch, you'd see the little Leftists frantically voting just as fast as their little paws would let them, just so they can just to try to make their opposition seem impotent compared to them.

It's like mental masturbation, farglebargle - but if it gets them off, then let them have at it. Let them vote all they want. I wouldn't trust the results if I were you, though...

What Percentage of Americans do YOU think would vote for impeachment, if not 88%?

A rough poll about the Computer Room here is 100% for Impeachment, btw... ( Admittedly a small sample size, but the number *IS* somewhere between 100 and 0.

And I'm thinking Closer to 100 than 0.

What does it even say, if HALF, 44% would impeach the President. Has he failed to restore Honor and Integrity to the White House?

Isn't that bad enough?

LaTigresse -> RE: MSNBC POLL: 88% say Impeach Bush. (5/22/2007 12:16:45 PM)

100% of ME would agree with it.

Yeah, that'd be reeeeaaal scientifical of you there, farglebargle. I bet you'd win an ****AWARD**** with ****THAT**** ****ONE****

pinksugarsub -> RE: MSNBC POLL: 88% say Impeach Bush. (5/22/2007 12:21:55 PM)

i didn't even know MSNBC was in the business of conducting polls.  IMO the poll question was flawed inasmuch as the general population does not impeach; the Senate does.

i'm not at all clear on who gets to be President if the Shrub is impeached.  Cheney?  Peloisi?  How is that an improvement?

Did you vote in the poll? Why, or why not?

Cheney

He gets to be in the hot seat if Bush loses his job.

I imagine the big fight in the White House is Bush trying to convince Cheney to pardon his sorry ass for war crimes when he resigns or is booted out of office, et al., with Cheney sitting there going "who pardons me?"

Cheney will resign 0.01 seconds after impeachment proceedings start up.  I suspect he will go couch surf in Bahrain with Michael Jackson a day or so after that.

Pelosi is #3 in line for the Presidency.  I suspect she wont issue any pardons to any of them.

The toes a person steps on today may be connected to the ass they have to kiss tomorrow.

Sinergy

This poll was originally conducted on the O'Reilly Factor with the same results.

There were TWO questions there. If you had no intention of answering either of them, why bother replying?

popeye1250 -> RE: MSNBC POLL: 88% say Impeach Bush. (5/22/2007 2:19:13 PM)

After this disasterous Amnesty Bill I'd vote yes!
Bush is no Republican!

farglebargle -> RE: MSNBC POLL: 88% say Impeach Bush. (5/22/2007 2:24:31 PM)

That amnesty bill really pisses off Bush's base constituency.

Mercnbeth -> RE: MSNBC POLL: 88% say Impeach Bush. (5/22/2007 2:34:22 PM)

My disdain for the actions of this Administration as well as my sentiments concerning if President Bush represents a particular party notwithstanding; the reason I don't favor any impeachment proceeding is it would be a waste. It would be a waste of effort, time, and money. The goal, President Bush leaving office, will occur in January 2009. A new administration will be forming next November. What purpose would impeachment serve?

"Feel Good" actions are not productive. Falling for the distraction of this issue speaks to how easily a vast majority of the people can be fooled.

You just changed the majority of Congress; felt any effect? You want the Iraq war ended. Congress has that ability unilaterally by not voting additional funds. They didn't do so. President Bush had nothing to do with that fact. The Senate went against the vast majority of the citizens of this country and put forth an immigration Bill having the same impact as amnesty for the criminal corporations exploiting these people as well as the criminals themselves. Although supported by President Bush - he had nothing to do with that fact.

Good to know we elected a new majority who agreed with the position and policies of a President you are calling to impeach. It would be those same approving Senators who would have to vote to act on the manner. How is that going to happen when they are on the same page regarding funding the Iraq War and the Immigration Bill?
