I'll have to look that up...I was getting something from my car last night and I noticed Venus and the Moon were chillin' together.

References 'in the Lifestyle'([:'(]) are worth nada - nil - zilch - zero.
In other words - nothing.
Otherwise, wouldn't that be similar the favouritism you were just complaining about?
If you are in with the 'in-crowd' you are an autofavourite?
Thank the godz that isn't played around here.

Paying for food means that other factors and peoples energies are involved.  Whether one pays with money or 'in kind' is irrelevant.  Relationships are your own responsibility.  If someone wants to make money from such, that is up to them - I don't agree with it because it just leads to moaning and bitching on 'that photo was a lie'  when instead it should have been 'I should have taken more personal responsibility for myself and been sure that photo wasnt a lie'.  So using food as an analagy does not work as a comparrison.

Myspace doesn't have a set 'policy' that works either.  Bondage images are allowed.  Even darker images are allowed - including blood, edgeplay and toys.
Nor does B.com. - not one that works anyway.

The difference between B.com and myspace/CM is that you do not pay for myspace or CM.
These are two free sites.

Inconsistancy is everywhere.  I would rather not pay for it is all.  And if I really do not like somewhere, I just don't attend - be that a club, munch, website or supermarket - It really is that simple.

Peace

*edit to add -  clarity does not always bring happiness.  Simply realisation.

We are ALL owed respect, being inconsistant is NOT respect.

Inconsistancy DOES badmouth a site, word spreads that a site is not holding everyone to the same standards and the same rules and word gets out, no one wants to be on a site that can't make up its mind to what north is. Sooner or later the ONLY people on a site are trolls. Besides, an [adult] site can get reported for inconsistancy.

I happen to adore b.com, I have great friends on there and I have learned a LOT. It was the first adult site I ever joined and I have NEVER had an issue with inconsitancy on there. All issues are addressed and changes are made.

Then why not spend your time on a site that you adore and spend less time here on a site you obviously have issues with. Nobody is making you come here or post here it is your choice. Personally I found this site and the one I use in the UK by far the most friendly and easy going out of all of them. And yes I did use b.com, in fact it was through that site that I met my Master but I rarely go there these days and certainly do not use the forums there. The ones here are far more entertaining.[sm=banana.gif]

You must be one of the people who gets away with breaking the rules while the rest of us play nice and follow the rules, or when we do we get rejected. How is that its 'bitching' for asking for consistancy? Sounds more like asking consistancy. Inconsistancy is what gets sites badmouthed; for a good reason. No one wants to be on a site that doesn't hold EVERYONE to the same standards and rules. Thats called favortism. Shame shame.

Bullshit.  It's not favoritism, it's just life.

I'll quote a tidbit I wrote in a previous thread when some other whiner felt the need to jump on a soapbox about this topic:

Welcome to the real world where everything isn't black and white.  The biggest part of the problem is that there is more than one person reviewing images/profiles and different people can look at the same thing and have differing opinions about it.  What one reviewer might pass, another might decide to err on the side of caution and deny.  It's not a perfect system, but it's better than the alternative of having a single reviewer and having it take weeks for an image to be reviewed.

Comparing the way things work on Alt or b.com is meaningless.  Those sites charge healthy membership fees and have paid staff to deal with all of this.  One of the reasons they allow those photos is because with paying members, you have names and contact info to refer the authorites to should they come knocking.  A free site doesn't have that ability and I'm guessing that not too many current members here would be willing to provide verifiable ID as a requirement to having an account.

We're all guests in another person's home here.  If you don't like the way they run their home, leave.  You'll always have that other site you adore so much.

~fast reply~

The picture approval process is inconsistent as hell, but I don't think it's due to anything sinister. I also don't think it's from favoritism. I just think it's a flawed system that will hopefully get better. Frustrating as it is, I don't think we should read a heck of alot into it. It's like standing in line at the Motor Vehicle Division office. Someday it might get better...until then, deal with it!

(edited cuz I misspelled "alot" as two words...duh)
