I just recently saw a movie made by Michael Moore released about 10 years ago called, "Canadian Bacon." And I thought it was a really funny movie and enjoyed it.

I dont agree with Moore's politics, and the movie was dripping with his politics, but he expressed them in an entertaining way. Why he doesnt do that kind of thing today I cant really figure it out. I guess he thinks he will be more successful making documentaries filled with lies and fabricated statistics.

Yep Micheal Moore is more of a story teller than a documentarian...But if you look past the crud...Movies like "Roger and Me" are hysterical in their portrayal of the people he found in Flint Michigan.....I know people get irrate on the subject of Moore but the cartoon in "Bowling For Columbine" that shows the development of this Country from the Mayflower on... is fucking hysterical.

For a very long time I've loved "Roger and Me." It's funny but also making a solid point about what is wrong with big business in America. I really don't find anything he has done since better than that. Farenheit 9/11 was a good movie but he spent too much time making points based on rather flimsy evidence.

yeah . . . and let's not forget the narrator of that history lesson was a talking bullet.

A few days after the Virginia Tech massacre that movie was shown on one of the cable channels; it really impressed me!

not for the faint of heart - it's a hell of a rabbit hole - and i'm a skeptic 100%... but he won me over. just like micheal moore did.

       It was a fun film.  Give Rivethead by Ben Hamper a read if you get a chance, though.  It chronicles what life was like, working in those plants that GM shut down and covers a few details that didn't fit the conclusions Moore wanted his audience to reach.  Funny as hell, too.

      The author appears in the film, the mental outpatient playing basketball.

if you like a good comedy check out "idiocracy" done by noneother than the dood who did beavis and butthead.  Now i am not a b&b fan but idiocracy had some totally hilarious parts, especially the part on "rehabilitation" listen carefully!  LOL

another good one is willis in 16 blocks for an aa movie

Bowling for Columbine was interesting and enjoyable, despite Michael Moore's well known tactic of "Telling the truth right after editting it". I was actually a bit of a fan of his...

...up until he released Farenhit 9/11 and jumped on the crazy bus and went so far to the left, he started driving in circles.
