I did a class last week for a high school. Some dude with a martial arts studio in class watched it, then went up to the teacher who set it up (not one of our graduates) and harangued her for letting us do our class because we did not know what we are doing. She was sitting there verbally harangued (adrenalized) by this guy claiming we dont know what we were doing and he said "what if I did this" and put his hands around her neck. She mentioned it to me later, I pointed out that what she felt when his hands went around her neck was adrenalin. Her response is to freeze. I mentioned that if he had decided to do that to a student, his testicles would need a few hours on ice and he may only have one eye that worked, or no teeth. Maybe my opinion tonight is a bit jaundiced, I was beaten up by almost 60 high schoolers today and I am a bit tired. To bring this back to the thread, the problem I have with this sort of thing is that it assumes that everybody in the room will have the same adrenal response. They pull a fake gun on a kid whose parents gave them a gun to keep themselves safe, the teacher ends up with a 3rd eye. They do this to a student in my defense against the armed assailant and they go to the hospital on a stretcher cluthing their groin and shattered face. People's idiocy amazes me. Do they honestly think that they can understand all outcomes to all situations? Sinergy
