I would respectively like to ask any Master/Sir's, what you would do if your sub was talking to you and when you told them 'no' they said 'fine'

That would depend on the tone used, the body language and the context at the time. Is this being done in a pouty way or a snotty sarcastic way? If it was said with sarcasm you can be assured there would be repercusions. If it was in public then those repercusions might wait until we had some private time together. If we were in private at the time then punishment would probably be immediate and appropriate.

Hmm usually when this sort of question gets asked in this sort of way, the sub is looking for validation to take back to their master as a way to say "see, you're just wrong"

In one way you could ask, what else should a slave say when told no? If "fine" is the honest answer, then all seems like cherry pie to me. If the slave has a specific protocol on how to respond to certain words, then they should know what that protocol is beforehand.

My own lexicon leads me to say "Cool" or "Nifty" or "OK" more than "Fine" but that's due to my own vocabulary, experience, and preferences.

And, as Oscart said, the specific word you use is only one portion of what we're actually "saying."

Obviously, each dom will respond differently based on the specific context and their own desires.

I was online with Sir and I capped it.. was being very bratty.. and I deserved what punishment I got and will receive soon.. I know that!
I was just wondering if it was all that bad I guess but then I know better.

A little under-the-breath cursing is OK as long as I can pretend I didn't hear it.

Hmm...I'm not ever allowed to use expressions such as "fine" "alright" "ok" "yeah", etc...regardless of tone. He thinks its disrespectful. He insists on "yes" when I'm giving an affirmative answer.

"whateva", in that California, valley girl type of voice....turns me on...even if it is used condenscending and I find it hard to punish....but, I still do, with whateva I pick up first to spank her with.

Frankly, I think she does it purposely!

Pretty much answered your own question didn't you.

Normally I respond with "I didn't quite hear you... fine what?" Which should be answered with "Fine, Sir" said in a not bratty tone. If that doesn't happen I start counting... counting is bad... you never want to hear me start counting. The point of which is exactly what you admitted to, you were copping an attitude and being deliberately disrespectful, its not what you said that matters, its why you said it. Want a bit of advice, sit down and think about why you did that, then write an appology. Its never a good idea to deliberately be disrespectful. Disagreeing is one thing, but there's better ways to handle a disagreement than resorting to disrespect.
