I have seen so many rants about the falseness of so many profiles here at CM, well here is a switch, what about the difference in profiles among differing sites--here is My example-there is a female sub on this site who purports to be the epitomy of kajira. one would think she is the ultimate "amayos" slave--tonite I discover she is on another site--and presents herself as a Mistress seeking younger men--ahem--sooo whatcha think about that? And how many of you do indeed check parallel sites?

Interesting. No, I don't look at other sites. I would imagine that someone who does such things would have one hell of a time keeping it all straight.

Duplicity confuses me. I don't understand why people feel the need to be deceitful. I know what some of the reasons are but I don't understand them.

Why not be who you are? Whether it be Dom/me, Switch, sub, slave...or just fucking kinky. Why do some people assign a value to orientation or assume that having opposing feelings are bad?

As I've said before, some people just play a great game online, but can't deal with reality. I guess some people play more games than others.

Just out of curiosity, how did you discover it was the same person?

Perhaps its an old profile and her life has changed. I am sure there is still an old profile or two of me floating around out there from the other side of the fence. People do so love to jump to conclusions and start rumors.

I stay active in some circles and the pic is unmistakable--- I was asked if I knew her.

And both profiles are current---I just thought it was interesting--

Actually, I have never even been to the two most referred to parallel sites, since this one worked for me.

Well, well, well... someone was caught with their britches down again. I am sure that there are many people with different profiles on different sites for different reasons. I have gone beyond wanting to know or even caring why someone would do that. Some people like the idea of being dominant or submissive, some are dominant or submissive... some aren't sure so they might list different profiles seeing which one they get hits on first. What does it matter? If they are not directly hurting someone is it really a problem? If someone tries to mislead another person it eventually comes out and they are exposed. Just take your time getting to know someone. Don't jump with both feet into the deep end of the pool.

To call yourself kajira and Mistress in the same breathe seems to be on the extreme side of simply not sure.

MH...you always seem to bring points to the table that i wrestle with.

On one hand, intellectually i can easily defend a person's right to post whatever they like about themselves. Who am i to judge what may or may not be true? Don't politicians do the exact same thing come election time and yet we have learned to sift through their statements and accept the fact that this is standard conduct.

On the other hand, the more society becomes complacent in their acceptance of this behavior (i.e. what does it matter? If they are not directly hurting someone is it really a problem?) the more prevalent it becomes...is this the norm we are willing to live with?

I don’t know the answer. I was born into a time when one’s word was a matter of honor and one was only as good as their word. I have always taken people for their word. Naïve? LOL..yes these days I suppose it borders on being stupid. I have no problem being called stupid under said circumstances. Where it tugs at my heartstrings is how to raise children in such a society. Presume a liar until proven otherwise is not something I want to advocate.

I guess for those who choose to be upfront and honest to the best of their ability will soon place them in a minority group…one that I personally will always remain a member of.
