There seems to be a slight sense around that dominants should buy all the equipment, the furniture, pay the rent, getting in all the various fetish outfits and costumes, so that a submissive comes along and does not pay anything.

Let's get real here, nothing in life is free, especially BDSM, it is an area where the prices have always been high for equipment and furniture, because it is all bespoke, one-offs, which cannot be manufactured in large quantities.

I see nothing wrong with their being professional dominants, or semi-professional ones, and I see nothing wrong with amateurs deciding to charge the idiots who demand that they provide everything for FREE.

Obviously I'm not including couples who are in a D/s 24/7 relationship, as that is something else again.

Just me blowing up.

::laughing:: Master wouldn't get this thread, having never bought a toy. I had a full toy bad when we got together. Half were gifts from those I was dominant too when I was discovering myself, half from dominants I had played with that gave them to me. My favorite current vibrator was a gift from my ex husband for Christmas last year. I picked it out online and asked him to buy it for me on a day he was in a good mood. ::winks:: I figure if he is going to live vicariously through me, I should give him visual fodder at his own expense.

The few things that have been added to the toy bag even since we have been together have not been purchased by Master. They are either gifts to me by someone other than Master, or something I have saved up for and bought for him.

Well i have my own toys as well that i have been collecting for many years. They have their own dresser in my bedroom, i also had a friend make me a spanking banch and tried to make one myself (his is better lol)

And whoo hoo i got my three new floggers they are soooooooooo pretty! Tonight i will find out if they kiss or bite lol.
