How do you know when you found your true master? There are men whom you may adore, and then there are men who stir your soul...how do you know which is right? What if the true depth of your passion can only be experienced by great sacrifices? Is it worth it? Why is it that some men inspire you to do anything for them?

Only if you are content with such things. If knowing that your sacrifices are for one that you were meant to be with, and you are happy making those sacrifices, then yes, they are worth every minute.

I have often seen that a girl who serves a man who cares for her, comes to love that man. I'm not sure it even matter why she serves him, initially. (Similarly, s dominant man, served by a girl he cares about will come to have love for her.)

So I would say that if you have a choice, go for the man who inspires you and makes you (want to) do things for him. Even if you don't start out loving him, I'm sure it will come.

I don't know know how you would know when you find your "true" master, I suspect it wouldn't be any different than knowing when you find your "true" love in a vanilla context...in other words, I don't think you can know until you can look back on the relationship from the vantage point of a shared lifetime...until then, you have to listen to your heart.

Love can inspire things. But it doesn't always have to be love that inspires you beyond the norm. It can be the relationship, a person who can touch and reach places that others haven't. A person who can push your bottons - because you've given them to him.

Depends on you. What are your priorities, what do you need to be fulfilled in yourself. I will say I've known a lot more slaves who lost themselves for nothing than those who sacrificed and had it returned.

You can retain yourself AND be in the perfect relationship. Why would someone who wants to be with you for life want you to sacrifice things that you consider essential to yourself? I'm not talking job and school and such...I'm saying sacrificing the things that make you YOU.

And only you can decide ultimately what's worth it.

Two questions

1. What do you want?

2. What do you need?

There are so many of us who only go after number one and ignore number two. If you examine what you need and decide not to settle for less, you'll find your wants and needs all roled into one.

In various post and profiles, you'll can read how someone is happily married and in love. Yet they are yearning for some kink and are having to get it from an outside source of there relationship. There's a saying "You can't have your cake and eat it too." Why the hell not? I want the cake, the cookies, the ice cream, and a big glass of milk. I'm happy to say that I now have it, the whole kitt and kapottle. All because I hunted patiently untill I seen the one I wanted to take down with no exceptions.

sounds a bit strange but i just knew Master was the One i'd been searching, just a feeling i can't describe in words but it's been over a year now and it's stronger than it ever was with Him.... He is my first and last Master and i met a lot of Doms before meeting Him to know He's the One no question...smoetimes You jsut know but can't explain it ..well this is one of those times. never had this feeling before, a bit odd to go thru. ~smile~
